Computer Science Lab Facilities

Instruction Lab 1, 2 and 3

These three labs are designed to train the students in the field Computer Science. The tools and programming languages that are learnt by students in these labs are MS Office, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Visual Studio, C++, Object Oriented Programming, Java, dotNet, J2EE, HTML, and Matlab. Instruction labs 1 and 2 are equipped with the latest technology of thin Clients for better software management and recourse utilization according to the need of these labs. Instruction Lab 3 contains computers with core i5 technology. The objective of Instruction Lab 3 is also to train students on Linux platform and to train students for different DBMS like MySQL and Oracle.

Project Lab 1 and 2

These labs are designed according to the need of students of final year project for the completion of their Computer Science degree. Computers are allocated to students who get software installed as per the requirements of their specific projects. The environment in this lab is very helpful for the students, since all of them are senior students and working on their final projects, they help each other on technological and other issues. The core i5 technology computers are installed in this lab to facilitate the needs of students.

Distributed and semantic computing

This lab is used by the research students of distributed and semantic computing. The main objective of this lab is to provide research students a platform to work on semantic web layered framework, i.e., XML, RDF and RDFs, ontology building and its evaluation, and implementing reasoning logic that brings out accurate search results on web.

CSD Lab

This lab is dedicated for the students of Center for Software Dependability (CSD) research group members. The group comprises of Masters and PhD scholars working in diverse areas within the domain of Software Dependability, with focus on Software Testing and Reliability, Software Fault Tolerance, Formal Methods, and Model Driven Architecture. The lab is equipped with latest computers and tools related to software testing.

CORDE Lab

This lab is dedicated for the students of Center of Research in Data Engineering (CORDE). CORDE is an independent research group comprised of highly skilled professionals; enthusiastic researchers, software architects, software developers, and higher-education students of MS and PhD that aims at accepting and fulfilling the new challenges faced by the fields of Data Mining, Computer Modeling and Optimization, and Databases. The lab is equipped software’s related to tool for Data mining and Data Modeling.
