Virtual Session on Digital Marketing as an Emerging Marketing Tool
Mr. Husbi Ahmed, a master trainer on Digital Marketing Applications was invited by the Office of Corporate linkages, Capital University of Science and Technology to enlighten the final year students of BBA and MBA on 16th June 2020 via Zoom Cloud Meetings. The session went on for 1 and a half-hour in which Mr. Husbi Ahmed introduced the concept of Digital Marketing to the students. He kept the session very interactive and ensured student participation throughout the session. He explained the purpose of digital marketing and the need for it. Apart from that, he shed light on the buyers’ journey and how the purchase can be pitched using traditional and digital marketing tools. He explained the core of the digital marketing mix and explained different kinds of digital marketing mix tools that can be employed effectively, either independently or together with the traditional marketing tools for developing effective marketing strategies nowadays.
