COURSE OBJECTIVES

This course has been included to enhance student’s understanding in English language so that they may be able to read, write and speak English with ease. The course aims to improve the English Language skills of the Electrical Engineering students from an intermediate to advanced level, and to help them overcome their fear of public speech. It also aims to inculcate confidence and to groom their personality to communicate at executive level jobs. Special emphasis is also laid on developing individual and group effort through virtual and real-life trainings, presentations and projects to improve team functioning and team output. Consequently, this course helps students to become good and effective communicator. The objectives are to be achieved through understanding by design (UbD).
