MOU signing ceremony between the Capital University of Science and Technology and Project Management Institute Islamabad

Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST), Islamabad is a federally Chartered University established through an Act No XVI of 2015 of parliament and is a research oriented University. Project Management Institute (PMI) USA, is the world’s leading not-for-profit professional membership association for the project, program and portfolio management profession. PMI Islamabad Pakistan Chapter (PMI IPC) is the founding chapter in the country with over 150 and partners, holding key positions within their organizations.

In order to formalize collaboration between CUST and PMI, and to make it sustainable, President PMI Mr. Tashfeen Riaz along with Mr. Ali Raza Hanjrah (VP Membership) visited CUST and signed an MOU on 16^th July, 2019. On this auspicious occasion, Dean, HOD, and Faculty of Management & Social Sciences were present.

The main aim of this MOU is to open various avenues of the collaboration between CUST and PMI to enhance and improve the learning opportunities in the field of Project Management. CUST is offering the project management degree program to extended training to professionals in the field of project management. The recent collaboration with the PMI will help to offer the international standard trainings and certifications at the CUST.
