Waqas Akbar Lughmani has a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Mechanics of Materials from Loughborough University, UK. He is currently serving as an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering Department at Capital University of Science and Technology. He has an industrial experience of more than six years as an Operations and design engineer at Pakistan Atomic Energy/ Nemaura Pharma, UK. His research interests include; modeling and simulation of biomechanical systems, Composite materials, 3D bioprinting, Cyber-Physical Systems and Human-machine interaction.
