RESEARCH AREAS / INTERESTS

My research perspective involves the intersection of cybersecurity, privacy and trust issues in distributed systems like in Autonomous Vehicles (AVs), Internet of things (IoT), Industrial Internet of things (IIoT), and Blockchain. I am interested in exploring security, privacy and trust solutions using machine learning, deep learning, blockchain to build systems that substantially improve user’s trust upon these systems. Particularly, I like to pursue challenging problems that are involved in the integration of these systems and impact of security, privacy and trust of these systems on human trust. In my research career so far, I have focused on building counter measures for securing AVs, IoT, IIoT, Smart cities and WSNs. One thrust of my research is to design such secure systems which lead to reliable and trustworthy computing systems.
