CUST Organized and Celebrated “A Shining day with Special Kids”

“Persons with disabilities include those who have long-term physical, mental, intellectual or sensory impairments which in interaction with various barriers may hinder their full and effective participation in society on an equal basis with others.”

Different survey reports showed that around 150 million children in the world live with a disability; 80% of them live in developing countries. Most often, these children do not receive necessary treatment and most of them are discriminated.

In this regards the student of Capital University of Science and Technology has celebrated "A Shining day with Special Kids" who visited the University on December 21, 2017. Special Kids and students of CUST performed a lot of activities. As the event is graced by two prominent disable person and Urdu and Punjabi Legendary poet "Mr. Anwar Masood".

Anwar Masood shine the event with his funny and motivational poetry. On the sideline of event the Student of CUST distributed gifts among special Kids of six different institution of special education.

The Students of Capital University of Science and Technology spend a full day with special kids and gave a message to the society that disabled children are like all other children. These kids are talented enough and they just want attention of the society. The whole day activities give boost to their confidence.
