CUST Organized Seminar on CPEC

CUST Directorate of Corporate Linkages organized a Seminar on CPEC, on January 3, 2018 at 2 pm. Mr. Tabassum Rahman, is a Board member (R) of Pakistan Ordnance Factory was the Chief Guest.

The main purpose of the Seminar was to discuss the prospects and potential advantages of the CPEC in the near future as well as in long term. Mr. Tabassum discussed some of the unique dimensions regarding CPEC in detail providing a new insight into the matter. He proposed that CPEC will not only be beneficial for Pakistan but for other countries in the region as well. Even if we focused on the toll tax, it will give tremendous boost to Pakistan’s economy, along with other potential profits which can be reaped from it.

The primary aspect was to gauge students’ knowledge on CPEC and to enhance their knowledge along with trying to address any misconceptions. The sessions overall was a successful with a lot of enriching two way discussion. The talk was followed by a question answer session, in which students presented their questions and reservations which were duly addressed. Dr. Ansir Ali Rajput, Associate Dean Corporate Linkages was also present in the Seminar.
