MoU Signing Ceremony between CUST and Read Pakistan

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was inked between CUST and Read Pakistan on March 08, 2024, marking a significant collaboration in the realms of education and literacy. The signatories of this agreement were Syeda Fatima Hasan Gillani, CEO of Read Pakistan, and Prof. Dr Muhammad Mansoor Ahmed, Vice-Chancellor CUST, symbolizing the commitment of both organizations towards fostering a culture of reading. Prof. Dr. Arshad Hassan (Dean, FoMSS), Prof. Dr. Muhammad Umar Farooq (HoD, English), and Mr. Naeem Ullah Khan (Head, VIS) also graced the ceremony with their presence. The event was attended by designated focal persons from both sides; Ms. Sofia Shahid (Read Pakistan) and Ms. Asma Naz (CUST).
This MoU not only signifies for having a formal alliance but also heralds a new chapter in the pursuit of educational excellence and literacy promotion. With the CEO of Read Pakistan and the Vice-Chancellor CUST, the ceremony underscored a shared vision for advancing education, research, and literary initiatives through the inculcation of reading habits in the students at large.
After signing the MoU, Ms. Fatima delivered an informative talk to the students sharing the foundation’s history and notable achievements. She also encouraged them to read books, explaining the positive impacts it can have on their lives.
