The Faculty of Health and Life Sciences offers education in multiple disciplines related with the understanding of different systems of our lives including biology, microbiology, biotechnology, environment and pharmacy. Good education and training in health and allied subjects is essential for the wellbeing of human beings and national development in this competitive era of knowledge based society. Properly trained pharmacist plays a key role as medical counselor and educator for efficient drug dispensing and management.
The faculty consists of highly qualified and competent members committed to deliver the contents effectively and train students comprehensively. The curricula are well-thought blend of courses related to the core disciplines and associated allied subjects of biology and pharmacy with a required cross-discipline flavor. The faculty is fully aware of the fact that healthcare in the future will be predictive, preventive, participatory and personalized with increasing role of technology which demands an integrated holistic training to the students.

The students also benefit from working “on placement” in laboratories, hospitals and industrial facilities through internship and final year project.
