Dr. Arshad Hassan
Dr. Arshad Hassan is a professor of finance with consulting, research, and teaching experiences in the fields of corporate reporting, corporate finance, portfolio management, and financial risk management. He teaches advanced courses in the field of finance and supervises research scholars. Twenty-five scholars have completed PhD under his research supervision and more than 100 MS scholars worked with him during the last 15 years. Dr. Hassan also qualified the professional examinations like CMA and PFA and served as a professional auditor in the public as well as private sector. Dr. Hassan’s research and writings cover a variety of topics ranging from asset pricing to risk management in financial markets. He has published in high-impact factor journals like finance research letters, Financial Innovation, Energy Economics, Journal of Cleaner Production, International Journal of Emerging Markets, etc. He has also presented a number of research papers at academic conferences in Pakistan, Turkey, and the USA. He is also on the editorial boards of various local and international indexed journals. Presently he is serving as dean Faculty of management and social sciences at CUST and contributing to academic activities in many prestigious institutions as a member of the Board of Studies/Board of Faculty/Board of Advanced Research.
Dr. S. M. Mehdi Raza
Dr. Sayyed Muhammad Mehdi Raza Naqvi holds a Ph.D. in Management Sciences from Muhammad Ali Jinnah University, Islamabad. He also completed his Master’s in Science (Management Sciences) from the same university and earned another Master’s degree in Economics from Punjab University, Lahore, specializing in Econometrics and Human Capital Planning. Presently, he holds the position of Head of the Department of Management Sciences, serves as the Director of the Jinnah Business Research Center, and fulfills the role of Editor-in-Chief for the Jinnah Business Review, a research journal of the Faculty of Management and Social Sciences at Capital University of Science and Technology. He is with 29 years of experience encompassing teaching, research, training, coaching & mentoring, consulting, management, and strategic planning. He is a distinguished professor, trainer, and consultant specializing in Strategic Management, Research Methodology, Conflict and Negotiation, and Organization Theory. He is with over 30 papers published in esteemed academic journals. Additionally, he has successfully supervised 13 PhD candidates and nearly 100 MS theses.
Mr. Saqib Naveed
Dr. Ansir Ali Rajput
Dr. Ansir Ali Rajput has a PhD (Entrepreneurship), MBA (Babson College, USA, #1 in MBA Entrepreneurship and BSEE, Suny Buffalo, USA. Dr. Rajput core areas of teaching are Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Marketing Communications Strategies and International Business. Dr. Rajput has been providing training on diverse topics including, How to Establish Incubation Centre, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Personal Effectiveness, Negotiation Skills, Marketing Strategy and Effective Managerial Communication for local and international clients. Dr. Rajput has been consulting in the areas of Faculty Development, Venture Creation, Crowdfunding, Business Planning and Execution, Export Marketing and eBusiness for about 20 years. Dr. Rajput has assisted, support and mentored startups in the domains of Fast-Food, Vocational training, eCommerce, Apparel, Home Décor and BPO. Dr. Rajput has authored books including, Venture Creation: Business Success Secrets Revealed, You Call Sell and Entrepreneur; The problem solver. Dr. Rajput is Passionate to develop Pakistan entrepreneurial ecosystem and has been contributing in the development of Entrepreneurship Policy, Support Structure, Institutions and Entrepreneurial Culture in Pakistan. In Short, Dr. Rajput is a senior educationist, author, serial entrepreneur, mentor on startups.
Dr. M. Ishfaq Khan
Dr. Muhammad Ishfaq Khan has completed PhD degree (Management Sciences) in 2012 from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Islamabad Pakistan. Dr. Khan has joined teaching profession in Sept, 2003 to date. He is working as Associate Professor, Department of Management Sciences, Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad. Dr. Khan’s research interests include Green Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Leadership and business ethics. He supervised 8 PhDs and 50+ MS thesis. Dr. Khan has 15+ publications in reputable National/International Journals and presented his research paper in 40+ National and International conferences include Pakistan, Dubai, Malaysia, China, Japan, Singapore, Spain, Istanbul, New Jersey, North Carolina, and Los Angeles, USA.
Dr. Shazia Faiz
Dr. Shazia Faiz, secured the Ph.D degree in Human Resource Management (HRM) from Capital University of Science & Technology Islamabad, in 2017. From October 2018 to September 2019, she worked as an assistant professor at Fatima Jinnah Women University Rawalpindi. From October 2019 to June 2024, she worked as an assistant professor at Capital University of Science & Technology Islamabad. She is currently working as an associate professor at Capital University of Science & Technology Islamabad, Pakistan. Her areas of interest in research include leadership, perceived organizational politics, spiritual intelligence, and workplace attitudes and behaviors (such as creativity). She has supervised several MS and Ph.D students. She has proven herself in event management and career counselling as well.
Dr. Imran Riaz Malik
The educational background of Dr. Imran Riaz Malik enables him a good hold on the subjects of Finance & Accounts, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics and computing. He has over 21 years of experience in the fields of Finance & Accounts, Research and Administration and teaching at different levels. This is supported by hands on experience on Financial and other research-based packages and databases e.g., Oracle (Medix, Bank Smart), Peach Tree, DevInfo, R, Stata, SPSS, EViews, Ox metrics, Minitab and PGD (SE) etc.His competitive advantage in the field of finance and financial econometrics can be described as follows: He has a unique combination of higher-level education and extensive experience in public and private sector in the said fields, which is rare in several respects. The idea of proficiency can never be achieved without proper knowledge without prior strong knowledge of the statistics, financial econometrics, mathematics, economics, programming and accounting subjects in the field of finance and financial econometrics. As is evident from his educational background, with his strong back ground of the said subjects, he has experience of teaching these subjects at different levels and practically applying the knowledge in the field of finance, accounting, statistics and research.
Dr. Robina Yasmin
Dr. Robina Yasmin holds a PhD in Human Resource Management from Aichi-Gakuin University, Japan. She has completed her MS in Human Resource Management from Nagoya University, Japan and Masters in Economics From Punjab University, Lahore. After completing her PhD, she joined Iqra University, Islamabad and served there for more than 11 years. In 2003 joined the Metropolitan School of Business and Management, UK. Currently joined the Capital University of Science and Technology as Associate Professor. She had an extensive experience of research in areas of Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior. She has supervised PhD, MS and MBA theses and also served as external examiner at Air University, ZABIS, International Islamic University and Abasyn University, Islamabad.
Dr. Ahsan M. Ahmed
Taught marketing and management courses for 14 years at undergraduate and postgraduate level in several national universities. 5-year international industry experience in hospitality, retail and banking. Delivered 90+ workshops in 12 years on soft skills for leading public and private sector organizations. Proactively working on the 17 SDG’s, and managed to make a protype for a brick post transformation of plastic waste. Worked with the ministry of climate change to come up with a hospital waste management model. Established a YouTube channel promoting sustainable and green ideas. Furthermore, won a couple of research grants and projects from the industry. Published a couple of W and Y category papers. Current research interests include sustainability, artificial intelligence, digital marketing green marketing, and social marketing.
Mr. Nasir Rasool
Mr. Nasir Rasool has 20 an experience. That includes teaching experience 17 years and corporate experience of 3 years. He has supervised a large number of research studies during his teaching career. His corporate experience includes a solid training and consultancy exposure in Pakistan as well as in Afghanistan and Sri Lanka. He has worked with national and international social sector organizations and delivered trainings in all areas of management. He has also worked with different organizations as a consultant and helped them in developing their financial systems.
Dr. M. Saboor Ahmed
Dr. Muhammad Saboor Ahmed received PhD degree in computer science from the Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan. He has completed his MS, Major in, Software System and Engineering from Muhammad Ali Jinnah University, Islamabad Campus. He has been associated with academia and industry at various levels for the last 15 years, and currently he is serving as Assistant Professor, Capital University of Science and Technology. His research interests are in the areas of Data Mining, neural networks, Information retrieval and machine learning.
Dr. Maria Mashkoor
Ms. Maria Mashkoor is Assistant Professor and also currently a PhD Scholar at CUST, working on her Thesis in the field of HRM. She has previously done MS in HRM from CUST and Masters in International Business Management from University of Westminster, London, UK. She joined Academia in 2007 and has served at many different positions such as BBA Program Coordinator, Social Events Coordinator, Member of JBR team, Member of Board of Studies, Member of Cafeteria Committee; Member of Newsletter Committee, Member of Discipline Committee, Member of Budget Committee, Member of MAJU Alumni Society (MAJUAS), Member of HR track, ICETEM and Member of Sports Gala. She has also been Patron of NEXUS (the Marketing Society) and Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).
Dr. Shakeel Iqbal
Dr. Shakeel Iqbal is a seasoned acedemician with over 18 years of experience teaching both undergraduate and graduate students at various HEC recognized universities. His educational qualifications include a doctorate degree in Information Technology from Iqra University Pakistan, a MS degree in Computer Information Systems from Florida Institute of Technology, USA and a Master of Public Administration degree from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan. Besides teaching he has an excellent track record of research and publications. His area of research include adoption of Information systems, mobile learning and e-governance. He has published several research articles in well reputed national and international journals. He has served as reviewer for many international journals including Higher Education Research and Development. International Review of Research on Online and Distance Education, International Journal of Educational Technology in Higher Education, Computers & Education and Kybernetes. Furthermore, Dr. Iqbal has played a pivotal role in mentoring numerous undergraduate and graduate research projects and theses. His guidance has shaped the academic journey of aspiring scholars, reflecting his commitment to fostering the next generation of researchers.
Dr. Arif ud din
Dr. Arif ud din is Assistant Professor and currently a Post-Doctoral fellow at Universita ”Mediterranea” di Reggio Calabria in Italy. He completed his PhD in Management Sciences from IBL, AWKUM, and holds MS in Project Management from COMSATS. With extensive experience of 14 years, he has managed projects and programs with international, national, and grassroots level organizations. Additionally, he has taught project management courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels in various universities in Pakistan. He has published several research papers in renowned international and national journals and serves on the editorial boards of local and international indexed journals. He possesses hands-on experience with research-based packages such as SPSS, AMOS (CB), SMART PLS-4, Primevera and NVivo. His research interests lie in the areas of Project & Program Management, Sustainable Entrepreneurship, and Social Entrepreneurship. Furthermore, He has taken on the role of Deputy Team Lead/Co-PI in the project titled ”Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Local Universities Capacity Building Project on Research, Pedagogy, and Curriculum Tuning.” This project was funded by the US Embassy and administered by USEFP.
Dr. S. Arslan Haider
Dr. Syed Arslan Haider holds a Ph.D. in Business with a specialization in Strategic Management from Sunway Business School, Sunway University, Malaysia. He also completed his Master’s in Project Management and Bachelor’s in Computer Science from the Capital University of Science and Technology, Pakistan. Dr. Haider extensive academic career is marked by prolific research contributions, with over 35 papers published in various esteemed journals, conferences, and book chapters. He has collaborated with more than 40 researchers worldwide, showcasing his international network and influence in the academic community. His research primarily focuses on Project Management, Strategic Management, Knowledge Management and Research Methodology. Additionally, he has made notable contributions to other disciplines, such as Marketing, Hospitality, IT, and Human Resource Management. Dr. Haider work has been published in prestigious journals indexed in Scopus, ABDC, and ABS, including the Journal of Knowledge Management, the European Journal of Innovation Management, the Journal of Innovation & Knowledge, and more.
Ms. Rabia Habib
Miss Rabia Habib completed the MS degree in Finance & Business Management from the University of Bedfordshire, U.K., in 2013, and joined academia where she has worked as Lecturer since Sept. 2014. Her area of interests are Psychological biases in financial investment behaviour, Applying behavioral finance to asset allocation, Analyst recommendation and corporate failure, Greed and fear in the stock market and Limit to Arbitrage Theory. Miss Rabia’s degrees in Business has enabled her to develop analytical/logical approach to tasks and aptitude to work under pressure. She wants to gain full expertise in Finance, takes every task as a challenge and strives to work in a competitive environment.
Mr. M. Umar Toor
Mr. Muhammad Umar Toor is a dedicated and accomplished Principal Lecturer with a strong academic background, holding a Master of Science in Marketing (CRM) and an MBA in Human Resource Management. With a passion for teaching and educational leadership, he has been shaping the minds of graduate and undergraduate students since 2009, delivering high-quality education in business and management disciplines. Currently serving as the Program Manager for the BBA program for the past seven years, he has played a pivotal role in curriculum development, program enhancement, and student success. His leadership extends beyond the classroom; he has served as the Conference Secretary of the Applied Business Research Conference for 11 out of its 12 sessions, demonstrating his commitment to academic excellence and research dissemination by facilitating meaningful dialogue and knowledge sharing at both institutional and national levels.
Ms. Sarah Nawaz Malik
Ms. Sarah Nawaz Malik possesses a diverse academic background having degrees in both Humanities and Management Sciences domain. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD in the field of Management. Her areas of interest include Organizational Behaviour, Industrial Psychology and Business Communication. She also supervises research thesis/projects and teaches courses in Communication skills, Business Communication, English I and English II.
Mr. M. Irfan Mustafa
A Senior Lecturer at Capital University of Science and Technology, and a Project Management Professional/Consultant, Mr. Muhammad Irfan Mustafa has done his MS in Project Management from Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad and Software Engineering from the UK. He is currently a member of Project Management Institute (PMI), Association for Project Management (APM), a Professional Member of British Computing Society (BCS) and an Associate member of Association of Business Executives (ABE) UK. He has worked on various successful projects for well-known organisations including AIRBUS UK, e-ID UK, Orange UK, AX Pulse and KAISPE. He is a trainer for Oracle’s Primavera P6 Professional and Oracle’s Primavera Risk Analysis. His research interest is in Project Stakeholder Management, Project Risk Management, Requirements Engineering, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT). He is also a member of British Parachute Association and actively involved in backpacking & hiking.
Ms. Javeria Khalid
Ms. Javeria Khalid has 10 years of working experience in different organizations like USAID, Deloitte, SZABIST and NUMS. She has done double Masters Gold Medalist in M.phill Management Sciences; She is a ‘Certified Lead Auditor of ISO 9001:2015 (QMS). She has extensive experience in managing training, administrative work and human resource affairs gained over relatively a short span of time through commitment under thoughtful supervisors. She has a proven record of accomplishment in administration; human resource; quality control; and auditing of quality management systems. She is very well conversant with management procedures and affairs combined with an energetic personality; and good interpersonal & human skills, she also possesses experience in teaching undergraduate/Master’s programs as a visiting faculty in different institutions in Islamabad.
Syed Farhan Ali
Mr. Syed Farhan Ali , who completed his MS in Finance in 2019, is a researcher specializing in Arbitrage Pricing Theory (APT). He joined academia in the same year. His research focuses on the relationship between expected asset returns and various risk factors, and he employs empirical testing and statistical analysis to validate APT across different markets.
