• The Registration for Spring – 2025 semester will commence on 12 February, 2025. The classes will commence from 01 March, 2025.
  
• All PhD students are advised to view the Degree Completion timeline. It can be viewed here
• The registration guidelines for Course and Dissertation Research Registration are provided in following paras.

• Log in to your student portal account and follow the usual procedure for online course registration. The student name will not appear in the attendance sheet till clearance of dues.
• If you have forgotten your web account password, you can approach Dy Registrar Office/SSS Office or Database Administrator for issuance of a new password.
• A PhD student is required to register in each semester till completion of degree requirements.
• A maximum of 9 credit hours can be registered in one semester.
• Non-registration for two consecutive semesters shall lead to cancellation of admission.

• Research registration would also be done through Student Portal. In case of any difficulty, Graduate Studies Office be contacted.
• Minimum 30 research credit hours are required for completion of degree requirements.
• PhD Students are required to keep registering the research in each semester till their final dissertation defence takes place.
• Non-registration for two consecutive semesters shall lead to cancellation of admission.

• PhD Comprehensive Examination for Spring 2025 is scheduled to be held as per the following details:

  • PhD Comprehensive Exam Schedule Faculty of Engineering

    PhD Comprehensive Exam for Spring 2025 semester has been scheduled on 10 March 2025 (Monday) from 2 pm to 5 pm.

  • PhD Comprehensive Exam Schedule Faculty of Computing

    PhD Comprehensive Exam for Spring 2025 has been scheduled on 10 March 2025 (Monday) from 2 pm to 6 pm.

  • PhD Comprehensive Exam Schedule Faculty of Health and Life Sciences

    PhD Comprehensive Exam for Spring 2025 has been scheduled on 23 September 2024 (Monday) from 2 pm to 6 pm.

  • PhD Comprehensive Exam Schedule (Faculty of Management and Social Sciences)

    PhD comprehensive examination for Spring 2025 has been scheduled on (Part I – 10 March 2025 (Monday) from 2 pm to 6 pm and Part II – 12 March 2025 (Wednesday) from 2 pm to 6 pm).

• PhD Students desirous to take this examination are to fulfill the following conditions:-
  • Must have completed a graduate course work of 18 Cr Hrs.
  • Must have a minimum CGPA of 3.00 in the graduate course work.
• The registration for PhD Comprehensive Examination Spring 2025 would be done through Graduate Studies Office. In case of any difficulty, Graduate Studies Office be contacted IMMEDIATELY.  To complete the registration process, fee is to be deposited in the bank through Challan Form available at Portal/Accounts Office/ Online. The registration can be done from February 18, 2025, to February 20, 2025.
• A student who wishes to withdraw from this examination after its registration, must inform the Graduate Studies Office in writing latest by March 06, 2025. The absentees would lose one chance to pass the PhD Comprehensive Examination.

• The oral part of PhD comprehensive Examination would be conducted by the respective faculty after about 2-3 weeks of the written examination. The date time and place would be communicated separately to all students by the respective departments.
