Capital University of Science and Technology introduced the CUST Mentorship Program

Aligned with the HEC-NAHE’s initiatives to enrich personal and professional capabilities of the faculty in HEIs through Mentorship Program for Universities, Capital University of Science and Technology introduced the CUST Mentorship Program. Seven modules including; Communication Skills, Conflict Resolution, Problem Solving, and Decision Making, Growth and Reflection, Leadership Development, Ethics and Integrity, Inclusivity and Diversity, Digital and AI Tools, Outcome Based Education, were offered. At the completion of the three-month MPU, a certificate distribution ceremony was organized. Dr. Noor Amna Malik, MD NAHE distributed the certificate as the Chief Guest. She appreciated the efforts of the CUST leadership for the initiative and apprised that CUST is the first university in the federal area, first university in the private sector, and first university that introduced an app to facilitate the MPU. Also, the feedback from the participants reflected the success of the program enlisting a number of notable outcomes and achievements which may bring a change in the culture, values, and norms at HEIs.
