Dr. Arshad Hassan
Dr. Arshad Hassan is a professor of finance with consulting, research, and teaching experiences in the fields of corporate reporting, corporate finance, portfolio management, and financial risk management. He teaches advanced courses in the field of finance and supervises research scholars. Twenty-five scholars have completed PhD under his research supervision and more than 100 MS scholars worked with him during the last 15 years. Dr. Hassan also qualified the professional examinations like CMA and PFA and served as a professional auditor in the public as well as private sector. Dr. Hassan’s research and writings cover a variety of topics ranging from asset pricing to risk management in financial markets. He has published in high-impact factor journals like finance research letters, Financial Innovation, Energy Economics, Journal of Cleaner Production, International Journal of Emerging Markets, etc. He has also presented a number of research papers at academic conferences in Pakistan, Turkey, and the USA. He is also on the editorial boards of various local and international indexed journals. Presently he is serving as dean Faculty of management and social sciences at CUST and contributing to academic activities in many prestigious institutions as a member of the Board of Studies/Board of Faculty/Board of Advanced Research.
Dr. Jaleel Ahmed Malik
Dr. Jaleel Ahmed Malik is Associate Professor in the department of Accounting and Finance, Faculty of Management and Social Sciences, Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad. He is serving the CUST since November 2016. He earned a PhD in Finance from an AACSB member, AMBA accredited, School of Management at Harbin Institute of Technology, China. Dr. Malik has been actively engaged in scientific research and has published impactful articles in International Journals & Conferences. His areas of interest are Corporate Finance, Financial Development and Economic Growth. He is also the reviewer of the international journals including PLOS ONE and Managerial and Decision Economics.
Dr. Imran Riaz Malik
The educational background of Dr. Imran Riaz Malik enables him a good hold on the subjects of Finance & Accounts, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics and computing. He has over 21 years of experience in the fields of Finance & Accounts, Research and Administration and teaching at different levels. This is supported by hands on experience on Financial and other research-based packages and databases e.g., Oracle (Medix, Bank Smart), Peach Tree, DevInfo, R, Stata, SPSS, EViews, Ox metrics, Minitab and PGD (SE) etc.His competitive advantage in the field of finance and financial econometrics can be described as follows: He has a unique combination of higher-level education and extensive experience in public and private sector in the said fields, which is rare in several respects. The idea of proficiency can never be achieved without proper knowledge without prior strong knowledge of the statistics, financial econometrics, mathematics, economics, programming and accounting subjects in the field of finance and financial econometrics. As is evident from his educational background, with his strong back ground of the said subjects, he has experience of teaching these subjects at different levels and practically applying the knowledge in the field of finance, accounting, statistics and research.
Dr. Robina Yasmin
Dr. Robina Yasmin holds a PhD in Human Resource Management from Aichi-Gakuin University, Japan. She has completed her MS in Human Resource Management from Nagoya University, Japan and Masters in Economics From Punjab University, Lahore. After completing her PhD, she joined Iqra University, Islamabad and served there for more than 11 years. In 2003 joined the Metropolitan School of Business and Management, UK. Currently joined the Capital University of Science and Technology as Associate Professor. She had an extensive experience of research in areas of Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior. She has supervised PhD, MS and MBA theses and also served as external examiner at Air University, ZABIS, International Islamic University and Abasyn University, Islamabad.
Dr. Zeeshan Ahmed
He has experience and exposure in the banking industry. After his banking experience, he pursued a Doctor of Philosophy from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) with a finance specialization in 2018 and transitioned to academia. It indicates that by choice, he wanted to launch himself in academia where he could work for the betterment of the students. He supervised a number of students as a main supervisor. Moreover, he has a number of good publications in well-recognized journals. There are a few articles which are in pipelines and waiting for publications. He is honored as an external examiner in various national and international universities. He has developed his interest and expertise for research in corporate finance, corporate governance, market efficiency, financial reporting, earnings management, accounting, sustainable development, and performance evaluation of firms, etc.
Dr. Iftikhar Ali Janjua
Dr. Anam Tariq
Dr. Anam Tariq holds doctorate in management sciences (Finance). She joined academics in 2019 and has extensive teaching and research experience in green finance, corporate finance, financial economics and data analysis. Her research work emphasizes on finance and its effective impact on climate change mitigation She has research publications in renowned international journals and conference proceedings to her credit.
Dr. Anum Rashid
Dr. Anum Rashid has more than 8 years of experience in teaching and research. Her research area is sustainable finance, text mining, and microfinance institutions. She has published in various academic journals and presented her work at many international research conferences.
Dr. Nida Zahid Kayani
Dr. Nida Zahid Kayani, secured the Ph.D degree in Human Resource Management (HRM) from Bahria University, Islamabad, in 2022. From September 2023 to September 2024, she taught undergraduates in the capacity of visiting faculty at Bahria University, Islamabad and from September 2024 to September 2025 at Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST), Islamabad. She is currently working as an assistant professor at Capital University of Science & Technology Islamabad, Pakistan. Her areas of interest in research include knowledge-management, strategic management, leadership, employee-engagement, appraisal politics, organizational citizenship behavior, organizational culture, ethical leadership, corporate social responsibility, innovation, organizational human resource practices, work-life balance, perceived organizational support, women in entrepreneurial ventures, emotional quotient, intelligence quotient, employee-creativity, job-satisfaction and organizational performance. Dr. Kayani has a 3-year corporate experience mainly in recruitment and selection, employee-appraisals, compensation and payroll and training and development.
Ms. Rabia Habib
Miss Rabia Habib completed the MS degree in Finance & Business Management from the University of Bedfordshire, U.K., in 2013, and joined academia where she has worked as Lecturer since Sept. 2014. Her area of interests are Psychological biases in financial investment behaviour, Applying behavioral finance to asset allocation, Analyst recommendation and corporate failure, Greed and fear in the stock market and Limit to Arbitrage Theory. Miss Rabia’s degrees in Business has enabled her to develop analytical/logical approach to tasks and aptitude to work under pressure. She wants to gain full expertise in Finance, takes every task as a challenge and strives to work in a competitive environment.
Ms. Sadaf Adalat
Ms. Saddaf Adalat is currently doing PhD (Finance) from Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad. She has almost 4 years of teaching experience. She has done MS in Finance from Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad. She started her teaching career as a Visiting Lecturer from Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad in 2018. She also worked at International Islamic University, Islamabad for one years. She has also achieved Merit and High Distinction Holder certifications from university.
Ms. Javeria Khalid
Ms. Javeria Khalid has 10 years of working experience in different organizations like USAID, Deloitte, SZABIST and NUMS. She has done double Masters Gold Medalist in M.phill Management Sciences; She is a ‘Certified Lead Auditor of ISO 9001:2015 (QMS). She has extensive experience in managing training, administrative work and human resource affairs gained over relatively a short span of time through commitment under thoughtful supervisors. She has a proven record of accomplishment in administration; human resource; quality control; and auditing of quality management systems. She is very well conversant with management procedures and affairs combined with an energetic personality; and good interpersonal & human skills, she also possesses experience in teaching undergraduate/Master’s programs as a visiting faculty in different institutions in Islamabad.
Ms. Jaweria Khalid
A professional and meticulous facilitator at graduate and undergraduate level in university. Possess a vast experience in teaching courses such as marketing. human resource, management and business information systems. Has served corporate sector as a marketing research executive and human resource executive.
Mr. Ikram Ullah
Mr. Ikram Ullah holds Master’s degree in Business and Finance (with specialization in Islamic Finance) from International Islamic University Islamabad. He joined academia in 2010 and has more than 15 years of teaching experience at universities/business schools for Bachelor and Master level students in the fields of Macroeconomics, Money and Banking, Commercial Bank Management, Consumer Banking, Islamic Economics, Islamic banking & Finance and Takaful. Besides teaching, he performed in the research domain from 2011 to 2022 as an “Editorial Assistant” of the “Journal of Islamic Business and Management - (JIBM)”, a bi-annual academic research journal of Business and Management.
