The establishment of a quality assurance system in higher education has become a global concern. There is a growing demand for Quality Assurance (QA) mechanisms at national, regional, and international levels. Over the years, it has been observed that the number of higher education institutions has increased, along with greater involvement of external stakeholders due to changes in governance structures. Higher education institutions worldwide have introduced internal quality assurance systems through formal institutional approaches and proper documentation. This has been further strengthened by the establishment of quality assurance agencies, such as national accreditation bodies.
