Visit of AdVentures Forum Representative at CUST

On 2nd May, 2025, representatives from AdVentures Forum visited Capital University of Science & Technology (CUST), Islamabad, to present and discuss their entrepreneurship and career development programs. The session aimed to introduce AdVentures’ unique offerings to students and faculty, highlighting opportunities for career launch and entrepreneurial growth. The purpose of the meeting was to explore potential collaboration opportunities between AdVentures and CUST.

Dean ORIC, Dr. Nayyer Masood, commenced the meeting by presenting an overview of ORIC’s operations to the AdVentures representatives. He highlighted the current performance of ORIC and detailed how Capital University of Science & Technology
(CUST) is actively facilitating its students through various research, innovation, and commercialization initiatives.
Following this, Mr. Parvez Abbasi provided detailed insights into both program tracks, emphasizing tailored support for both job seekers and budding entrepreneurs by demonstrating the following programs:
1. AdVentures Career Launch
- Target Audience: Job seekers among students and graduates.
- Duration & Format: 3 months; classes held once a week.
- Program Focus: Career coaching, job readiness, and professional development.
- Institutional Cost: 550,000–600,000 PKR per month.
- Cohort Size: Minimum of 1 student per cohort.
2. AdVentures Next Summit
- Target Audience: Aspiring entrepreneurs and self-employed individuals.
- Duration & Format: 6 months; classes held once a week.
- Program Focus: Self-employment, business development, and entrepreneurial skills.
- Institutional Cost: 1,000,000 PKR per month.
- Cohort Size: Minimum of 1 student per cohort.
During the session, the AdVentures team engaged with CUST stakeholders, discussing the structure, benefits, and potential impact of these programs on student career outcomes and entrepreneurial ambitions. The visit highlighted the alignment between AdVentures’ offerings and ORIC’s mission to enhance student employability and entrepreneurial capacity. The flexibility in cohort size and the focus on both career and business development were particularly noted as strengths of the AdVentures approach.
