Dr. M. Mansoor Ahmed
Dr. Ahmed completed the PhD degree in Microelectronics from the University of Cambridge, U.K., in 1995, and joined academia where he worked at different positions including Professor; Chairman; Dean; Executive Vice President and Vice Chancellor. Dr. Ahmed research interests are in Microelectronics and RF Engineering. He has supervised numerous MS and PhD research projects. He authored 160+ research papers and his ISI research impact factor is 150+ with citation index over 1480+. Dr. Ahmed is a fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), UK.; a Chartered Engineer (CEng) from the UK Engineering Council and holds the title of European Engineer (Eur Ing) from the European Federation of National Engineering Association (FEANI), Brussels. He is a life member of PEC (Pak); IEEE EDS and IEEE MTTS (USA).
Dr. Imtiaz Ahmad Taj
Dr. Imtiaz Ahmad Taj received Ph.D. degree from Hokkaido University, Japan, in 2001. He is presently serving as Professor and Dean FoE at Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad and supervising research group of Vision and Pattern Recognition Systems. He has authored and co-authored 50+ research publications of international repute. He has supervised six Ph.D. dissertations in the fields of computer vision, pattern recognition and biometrics.
Dr. Noor Muhammad Khan
Noor M. Khan (Senior Member, IEEE) was born in Pakistan, in 1973. He received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan, in 1998, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, in 2007. He is currently a Professor and the Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST), Islamabad, Pakistan. His research interests include smart antenna systems, radar signal processing, adaptive multiuser detection, mobile-to-mobile communications, wireless sensor networks, the airborne Internet access, channel characterization and estimation, and physical channel modeling for mobile communications. He has supervised the research work of eight Ph.D. and more than 40 M.S. students. He was awarded Research Productivity Award (RPA) by the Pakistan Council for Science and Technology (PCST), from 2011 to 2012.
Dr. M. Ashraf
• Muhammad Ashraf received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan, in 1988, the M.S. degree in systems engineering from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan, in 1989, and the Ph.D. degree in systems engineering from the University of Liverpool, Liver pool, U.K., in 1995. He is currently a Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad. His research interests include power electronics, power quality, and renewable energy systems.
Mr. Umar Maqbool
Mr. Umar Maqbool received the B.E. degree from the Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2006, and the M.S. degree from University of Hertfordshire, Hertfordshire, England in 2009. He has 10 years of academic experience, teaching various courses at university level. Since 2013, he is with Capital University of Science and Technology Islamabad. Currently he is serving as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering.
Dr. Muhammad Naeem
Muhammad Naeem received his bachelor's degree in Electrical Power Engineering from The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan in 2012. He received master's degree in Electrical Power and Control from Center for Advanced Studies in Engineering, Islamabad in 2015. He has a teaching experience of 7 years in relevant subjects. His area of interest is Power System Engineering, Power Electronics and Smart Grid.
Mr. Inam Elahi
Mr. Inam Elahi is an M. Phil in English Linguistics, Master in English Literature, PGD in TEFL, Certified in UbD, a skilled & experienced faculty member of EE Department. He is a Lecturer in Communication Skills & Technical Report Writing. As VFM (visiting faculty member) he taught at Air University Islamabad & University of Lahore Islamabad Campus.CDA of Print Media in Pakistan is his research work. From the University of the Punjab he did his Master in English Literature and earned a degree of M. Phil from UOL. He has a vast experience in teaching at Graduate & under graduate levels. Since 1997 he is engaged in teaching and administrating different education institutions at SS, HSS, Grad & Post Grad Level. Inam attended international conferences on Education in USA & India. He is also Certified in Instructional Leadership from College of Education Amherst, University of Massachusetts USA where he completed his Understanding by Design (UbD), a curriculum development program. Inam is also expert at backward designing.
Mr. Moin Qasim
Mr. Muhammad Moin Qasim is currently pursuing his PhD in Electrical Engineering from Institute of space and technology, Islamabad. He has completed his MS degree in Electronic Engineering from CUST, in 2016, and BS in Electronic Engineering from Muhammad Ali Jinnah University, Islamabad Campus, in 2013. He was awarded Silver Medal for his outstanding performance in Bachelor’s Degree. He is currently a Lecturer in Electrical Engineering Department at Capital University of Science and Technology. His research interests include digital image processing, Computer Vision, Hyperspectral Document Image Processing and Machine Learning.
Mr. Attabik Tabib
My name is ATTABIK TABIB. I have done BS Electronics from Muhammad Ali Jinnah University, Islamabad Campus in 2017. The program was approved by Higher Education Commission (HEC) and accredited by Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). I am serving as a “Lab Engineer” in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad from September 2017 and onwards. I teach lab courses related to Control Systems and Electronics Engineering. My research areas are Electronics Engineering, Control systems and Power Electronics.
Mr. Muhammad Waleed Farooq
Engr. Muhammad Waleed Farooq (Member, IEEE) was born in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. He received the B.S. degree from the Muhammad Ali Jinnah University Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2014, and the M.S. degree from Capital University of Science & Technology, in 2019. He was an Assistant Director at Islamabad Electric Supply Company, Pakistan, until 2016. During his MS Degree he was appointed as Lab Engineer in the department of Electrical Engineering and now serving as Associate Lecturer in the same department. He is Vice Patron IEEE student branch CUST. He also represent department of electrical engineering as focal person in the Directorate of Sustainability & Environment CUST. His research interests includes Smart Grid , Renewable Energy resources, Wireless communication protocols, Robotics and automation. Engr. Waleed is a registered engineer at Pakistan Engineering Council and a member of IEEE.

Mr. Khuram Shahzad Khalid received the B.S. degree in Computer Engineering with distinction from the COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Islamabad (Wah Campus) and the M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Taxila. Danyal Javed Ratyal
Mr. Danyal Javed Ratyal is a dedicated and accomplished professional in the field of Electrical Engineering. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Capital University of Science and Technology in 2022. After his graduation, he joined academia and has since been a member of the university's faculty, serving as a Lab Engineer in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. His role has been instrumental in facilitating academic and research pursuits. His expertise lies in the exciting realms of Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, as well as Machine and Deep Learning. Dr. Muhammad Riaz
Dr. Muhammad Riaz is currently working as an Associate Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad. He has been working in different private and public university in electrical and electronics engineering departments. His research area is microelectronics.
Dr. Waseem Abbass
Waseem Abbass did his BS in Computer Engineering from COMSATS University Islamabad with honors and graduated from University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila with majors in networks. His area of research is the modelling, optimization, and applications of machine Learning in 5G cellular communication. He did his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in 2023 from COMSATS University Islamabad and the dissertation title was: "Analysis and optimization of shared spectrum access in 5G". Currently, he is associated with Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan, serving as assistant professor in the department of electrical and computer engineering. His current research interests include machine learning, cognitive radio networks, device to device communication, and the Internet of Things. He has more than 8 publications in high impact factor journals and 2 conference paper publications.
Ms. Tooba Masood is currently working as a Lecturer in Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad. After the completion of Master’s degree from COMSATS, she worked as a freelancer and then worked as a lecturer for one year. Her research interest is Massive MIMO, 5G and Beyond. She studied one semester of her bachelor’s degree from Murray State University (MSU) under GLOBAL UGRAD EXCHANGE PROGRAM and also worked as a cultural ambassador of Pakistan in USA during her stay. Moreover, she has worked as a Web Designer and Developer at DPL Software Company and University of Poonch Rawalakot (UPR) as an intern. She has also worked as a Microsoft Student Partner (MSP).
