Dr. Muhammad Sagheer
Dr. Muhammad Sagheer did his PhD degree in 2005 from university of Sussex, England. He Joined NUST Institute of Information Technology (SEECS) in 2006 for a year and joined MAJU Islamabad campus in 2007, which was later transformed into Capital University of Science and Technology. He was given the responsibilities of Head of Mathematics Department and Director Student Affairs in 2012. His research interests are Computational Fluid Dynamics and Computational Mathematics. Dr. Muhammad Sagheer has published more than fifty research articles in reputed journals.

Dr Rashid Ali has completed his PhD degree in Mathematics from the University of Passau, Germany in 2011. His research interests are in Cryptography and Cryptanalysis. He also has good command on computer algebra and applications and probabilistic metric species He is also working for the development of fixed point theory in various abstract spaces. He is currently working as Associate Professor in Capital University of Science and Technology CUST. He has supervised numerous BS, MS and MPhil projects.

Dr. Abdul Rehman Kashif has completed his PhD degree in the symmetries of spacetimes in General Relativity from the Quad-i-Azam University, Islamabad, in 2004 and joined as an Assistant Professor in the College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (NUST) Islamabad in the same year. He has worked as a Postdoctoral fellow in the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, UK. He has vast teaching experience in undergraduate and graduate teaching in Mathematics. Currently, he is working in N-Body Problem and restricted 5 or 6 body problems in Celestial Mechanics.

Dr. Khan holds a Promotion degree in Computational Mechanics with distinction "magna cum laude" from Ruhr-University Bochum, Germany. He has presented his research work at different national and international forums of high repute in America, Spain, Italy, Germany and Serbia. He has a strong publication record in reputed international journals of high impact. His research interests include: Computational Mechanics, Extended Continuum Field Theories, non-Classical Continuum Theories, Eringen Field Theories, Mechanics of Fluid-Solid Interactions, Finite Element Analysis, Heat and Mass Transfer, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Numerical Analysis, Modeling and Simulations, Coding with MATLAB, FreeFEM++ and FEniCS.

Muhammad Afzal joined CUST in 2015. He previously worked at Bahria University Islamabad and Wah Engineering College, as a visiting Lecturer. Muhammad Afzal did his PhD in acoustics scattering and structural vibrations at Quad-i-Azam University, Islamabad, under the supervision of Prof Muhammad Ayub. His PhD focused on the use of Mode-Matching (MM) technique and Non- Sturm-Liouville systems. He extended MM approach using Galerkin procedure, in collaboration with Dr Jane B Lawrie at Brunel University, London, UK. His recent research interests have focused on the development of effective analytical and computational models for the analysis of guided waves, which has been incorporated the propagation of sound waves in air, but also elastic waves in structures.

Dr. Dur-e-Shehwar Sagheer has joined academia in 2003. Meanwhile she completed her M. Phil from University of Sussex, UK and PhD. from capital University of Science and Technology. She has fifteen years of teaching experience. She has solid ability to stay organized and on top of important deadlines when teaching full load of classes each semester. Dr. Samina Rashid has completed Ph.D. degree in Mathematics from Capital University of Science and Technology in 2016. Before that, She has done M.Phil. from Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad Pakistan in 2001. She worked as a research associate at the University of Passau, Germany for two years in the chair of symbolic computations. She also worked from 2003 to 2006 in Nescom as a manager. Her research area is Functional Analysis, especially Fixed Point Theory. She is also working in Cryptography and Cryptanalysis. Currently, She is supervising four M.Phil. students and two students have completed their degree in M.Phil. under my supervision. She has more than fifteen years of teaching experience at graduate and undergraduate level.

Naeemullah Khan is an Assistant Professor (Islamic Studies) of Capital University of Science and Technology Islamabad. He is a certified by Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan as Shari’ah Advisor (SECP) and deals in Zakat matters and non-business base modes of Islamic Microfinance. He provides Shari’ah consultancy to different charity based organization and honorary consultant of BankWaqf International Malaysia. Prof. Khan has vast experience of academic corridor under his belt by being the faculty member of International Islamic University Islamabad, Mohammad Ali Jinnah University Karachi and Capital University of Science and Technology Islamabad Prof. Khan passed “Moulvi Fazal” exam from Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore as regular student of Ulma Academy Mansoorah, then he passed the exam of highest prestigious degree of Madrasa education “Shadat-ul-Aalmiyah” from Wafaq-ul-Madris. He completed his B.A Honors degree in Islamic Studies (Usul-ud-din) from International Islamic University Islamabad and MS with Specialization in Islamic Finance from Riphah International University, Islamabad. He also served as Shari’ah Advisor of Islamic Micro Finance Resource Centre (IMRC) Islamabad and in different prestige institutions. He is the author the first book on Islamic Microfinance in Urdu language, by the title of “An Introduction to Islamic Microfinance” published by IMRC Islamabad.
