BS Accounting & Finance

About The Program

The BS Accounting and Finance is highly specialized program designed to prepare students to meet the challenges emerging in complex domain of financial reporting and management. The program is tailored to first impart a broad-based education in the fundamentals of business and management and then develop the quantitative and analytical skills necessary to become prudent, astute and ethical financial managers.

Admission Requirements

  • Higher Secondary School Certificate or Equivalent securing at least 45% marks in aggregate
  • Admission Test / HEC Approved Test

Community Service

Each student is required to complete 65 hours community work, usually after 4th semester which would be a prerequisite for the award of degree.

Program Duration

This is a four-year degree program comprising of 8 semesters. There will be a Fall and a Spring semester in each year. The summer semester will be utilized for Internship or deficiency courses. The maximum duration to complete the BS Accounting & Finance is 7 years.

CGPA Requirements

A student is required to earn a minimum 2.00/4.00 CGPA on the completion of degree requirements.

Exit Rule After 14 Years Qualification

After successful completion of 4th Semester (60 Credit Hours), student may be awarded “Associate Degree in Accounting and Finance”, and is subject to the approval of the competent authority.
