Verbal Communication Skills (BCMP2003)

This course Verbal communication is designed to hone the communication skills of the students, more specifically focusing on spoken skills, by polishing the public speaking skills and inculcating the confidence to convey the message effectively. This will be done through discussions, lectures and presentation tasks given throughout the semester. Students are expected to exhibit these skills not only by the end of semester, but in real life as well, as business managers and professionals.

CLO: 1. Identify their personal communication style and communication strengths and weaknesses.
CLO: 2. Effectively communicate ideas in small groups and team meetings.
CLO: 3. Recognize how body language and other non-verbal cues communicate unconscious messages.
