COURSE OBJECTIVES

This course is meant to reinforce a good understanding of the fundamentals of electrical engineering through practical applications. Starting from Ohm’s law, and the Kirchhoff’s laws, basic analysis techniques are taught. Important laws of circuit analysis are explained using passive circuit elements.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES (CLO)

CLO: 1. Illustrate knowledge of primary electronic lab instruments including DMM, Function Generator, Oscilloscope and electronic trainer (Level: P2)
CLO: 2. Show knowledge of constructing electronic circuits and simulating their results using PSPICE (Level: C3)
CLO: 3. Design a basic electronic circuit and investigate effect of different changes on the final outcome (Level: C6)
