Management Information System (MISB3043)

The aim of this course, Management Information System is to provide students with the methods and approaches used by managers to exploit new digital opportunities and position their companies to realize higher business value. By the end of this course, students will be equipped with the necessary tools to deal with current business issues including digital transformation, business model innovations and business agility. Students will also get hands on training with organizational Information systems while exploring the domain of open source applications.

CLO: 1. Critically understand the importance of management information systems in business organizations as well as the variety of applications of such systems in specific business functions
