Industrial Biotechnology (BT3733)

The purpose of this course is to teach students about the ability to apply biotechnology to industrial processes in transforming the manufacturing industry. They will be able to propose about creating new and exciting products, but will eb able to suggest the use of novel techniques to solve long-term problems such as pollution and resource conservation. To teach students the basic principles of processing of bioproducts from biological resources in the areas Industrial Biotechnology, to equip students with skills on recent Methodologies and practice in industrial biotechnology and to expose students to relevant and recent advances in industrial biotechnology.
