MoU Signing Ceremony between CUST and MGBio: A Tech-Bio Company, NUST, H-12 Campus, Islamabad

A delegation from Capital University of Science & Technology, Islamabad on Friday,
2^nd June, 2023 at 09:00 AM. visited MGBio: A Tech-Bio Company, NUST, H-12 Campus, Islamabad. The meeting included the following participants.

• Dr. Amjad Ali   (CEO, MGBio, NUST)
• Dr. Syeda Marriam Bakhtiar   (HoD, Bioinformatics and Biosciences, CUST)
• Dr. Sami Ullah Jan   (Senior Lecturer, CUST)
• Mr. Jahanzeb Sarwar   (Manager, ORIC, CUST)
• Mr. Zia ud Din Tanoli   (Academic Officer, CUST)

The meeting started with the brief introduction of NUST and its project MGBio: A Tech-Bio Company. Thereafter, CUST and its team introduced themselves to the house. Both parties have shown keen interest to collaborate in the areas of mutual interest and to facilitate each other in R&D Projects, Labs and Testing Facilities, Training/Special Courses and input in Curriculum Design. It was also decided that both parties will also collaborate in Hiring and Internships of students and will discover the opportunities for the Commercialization of Technology with a greater sense of commitment and responsiveness.

In concluding remarks Dr. Amjad Ali and Dr. Sahar Fazal expressed that the signing ceremony is a
valuable step in advancing our mutual goals, provision of synergistic solutions that add value to the healthcare
system and strategically link them with stream of national development.
