Pharma Spark Society Held Bilingual Essay And Debate Competition

The event was hosted by Nooran-ul-ain and Arshi Noor from 6th semester, faculty of Pharmacy. It started with the recitation of Holy Quran by Mr. Mehmood Moin-ul-Haq from 8th semester. Welcome notes and significance of the event was presented, followed by introduction to the jury panel that consisted of Mr. Mateen Abbas, Mr. Mohammad Nauman and Ms. Asma Qandeel. Before commencement of the contest, all the participants were enlightened with the rules and regulations, both for the essay and debate competitions. Essay participants were provided with the sheets and a time limit of 60 minutes. On the other side, the hall was echoing with the astounding words of the debate participants. While the judges were compiling the results, the participants were entertained with the illuminating video on Women Empowerment.

All the judges were invited to present their humble views while the result was announced by Mr. Mateen abbas. M. Mohtashim from batch 213 stood 1st in the debate competition, while, Muneeba Sehar from batch 203 won 1st position in essay writing contest. Both were presented with the shields and certificates. 2nd and 3rd position holders of both the essay and debate competitions were also given respective certificates. In the end, efforts of all the participants were acknowledge and gratitude was presented to judges for sharing their time and expertise.
