This lab course from pharmaceutical chemistry domain provides a comprehensive overview of the key concepts in organic chemistry. Lab course will comprise on the classification of organic compounds on the basis of melting point and solubility and eventually with more emphasis on identification of organic molecules that are pharmaceutically important.

CLO: 1. To classify organic compounds on the basis of Physical properties (Melting point, solubility) and to summarize the general identification tests of organic compounds.
CLO: 2. To perform different identification and confirmation tests on organic compounds.
CLO: 3. To analyze the given organic compound on the basis of confirmatory tests.
