Soil Mechanics Lab (CE3321)

• Have the ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering to understand the measurement techniques and equipment used in soil mechanics and foundation engineering.
• To enable students to understand theory and practice of soil mechanics.
• To enable students to solve soil related problems.
• To develop skills to use modern soil mechanics equipment.

CLO: 1. to demonstrate and implement knowledge of soil mechanics for finding soil parameters.
CLO: 2. to demonstrate and perform seepage analysis using software tool Phase 2.0
CLO: 3. to perform calculations with obtained experimental or software data for finding specific engineering properties of soil.
CLO: 4. to discuss and clarify concepts of soil mechanics related to civil engineering.
