Umer Farooq Ahmed received his BS degree with highest distinction in Electrical Engineering from COMSATS Institute of Science and Technology, Islamabad, in 2017 and the MS degree in Electrical Engineering from Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST), Islamabad, in 2019. Currently, he is working as a Research Associate in the Research Group of Microelectronics and RF Engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering at CUST.

Umer Farooq research interests are in microelectronics, microwave FETs modeling and antenna design. He authored 8 research papers and his ISI research impact factor is 7.625. He is a Registered Engineer from the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), Pakistan.
