Capital Arts and Literary Club organized a Mock Trial Event entitled ‘Courtroom Showdown’

The Capital Arts and Literary Club organized a mock trial event entitled ‘Courtroom Showdown’ on October 19, 2023, wherein participants got to step up and display their critical thinking and civil argument skills in a case based on the real historical account of Bhagat Singh’s execution. Two teams partook in the event- defense and prosecution, siding with the Indians and the pre-partition British Government of the subcontinent respectively. The event was full of witty remarks and counter remarks, and a vibrant back and forth between zealous students with a passion for constructive debate.
