Visit to Dunya News Media House by Department of English

The first event of ‘Global Media and Information Literacy Week’ was held on October 23, 2023 wherein students from the Department of English visited Dunya News Media House. During the visit, the students were exposed to different operations of global media and the process of disseminating information. They were shown the studio to gain insights into the use of technology, and experience the fast-paced environment of a newsroom. Furthermore, a Q/A session was also held in which students got the opportunity to ask questions and seek advice from media professionals, enhancing their knowledge of potential career paths. The event provided the students with invaluable insights into the field of media and journalism.
