A Delegation from Capital University Visited National Accountability Bureau

A Meeting was held on Thursday, 11 May at the NAB Office. The meeting aimed to explore collaborations with universities to improve its image. Representatives from universities participated in the discussion. From CUST Ms. Ameena Saeed, Manager ELIC, and Mr. Badar Abbas, Manager CSO participated in this meeting. Mr. Fahim Qureshi, Additional Director at NAB, initiated the discussion by highlighting the need to utilize university platforms for this purpose.

The main agenda focused on conducting seminars on crime and corruption in universities and incorporating NAB slogans and messages during university events. The issue of fake news on social media platforms was also highlighted. NAB expressed its willingness to collaborate with universities in conducting seminars, webinars, and related events to raise awareness about corruption. NAB proposed to organize a logo competition within universities which will involve students in creating logos that align with NAB’s preamble.

It was recommended that universities support NAB by conducting surveys to assess students’ perception of NAB and gather recommendations for improvement. This will help to understand public views and obtain suggestions for enhancing NAB’s image. The idea of creating visual ads following NAB’s preamble was also proposed by CUST. In conclusion, the meeting provided a platform for constructive discussions on improving NAB’s image and collaborating with universities.
