Capital University Holds COVID 19 Awareness Session for Final Year Students
The faculty of Pharmacy organized COVID 19 awareness sessions for the students of all the programs offered at the Capital University of Science and Technology. During this activity, held from October 12, 2020 to October 16, 2020, faculty members of the faculty of pharmacy and department of bioscience delivered seminars on Covid-19 to the 7th and 8th-semester students. The information covered in the lectures included mechanisms of transmission of Covid-19, the disease signs and symptoms, importance of precautionary measures, and SOPs to avoid disease transmission. The participants were also educated about the significance of personal hygiene in the prevention of communicable diseases. The students were trained about the proper procedure of handwashing and the significance of frequently washing and sanitizing the hands. All pharmacy faculty members participated in this awareness campaign with zeal and zest to convey the message to every student of the university timely and effectively.
