Collaborative Session with Project AZM Team
A team of project AZM headed by Group Captain Irtaza from Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) Kamra visited Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST), Islamabad. Project AZM aims to develop a fifth-generation fighter aircraft as per ASR requirements. The project requires synergetic participation of a large number of organizations and stakeholder.
Dean Research & Innovation and Dean FoE welcomed the guests. The purpose of the visit was to devise a plan and identify areas of collaboration so that CUST can play a positive and key role in project AZM.
Group Captain Irtaza showed his interest to work in collaboration with CUST in the area of flight controls and Computer & Pattern Recognition. He acknowledged the expertise of CUST in these areas, both parties agreed to meet after two weeks to discuss the mode and terms of collaboration.
