Capital University Holds Seminar on “Corporate Governance and Professional Integrity”

Following a successful Seminar on “Envision through Emotional Intelligence” dated 19th November, 2021 the department of management sciences conducted a seminar on “Corporate Governance and Professional Integrity” under the supervision of Ma’am Javeria Khalid. As the theme of the seminar was Corporate Governance and Professional Integrity, the Guest Speaker highlighted the important facts of the subject.

Objectives:

• Enabling attendees to understand the Corporate Governance and Professional Integrity.
• Enabling attendees to understand the Dynamics of Corporate Governance and Professional Integrity.
• Enabling students aware of the system by which companies are being controlled, regulated and directed.

Proceedings:

The Guest speaker precisely explained the components and functions of “Corporate Governance and Professional Integrity”. Hon’ble Guest Speaker also explained the mobilization, capacity building, ramping up governance of corporate sector.

In the beginning of the seminar, the participants were given basic knowledge and concepts in term of Corporate Governance and Professional Integrity. The Seminar enabled the participants to have clear the understanding of Board of Directors, Regulatory body, Functions of Directors, Vision and Mission of the subject of seminar.

Conclusions:

In a nutshell, it was an informative, Participatory and well organized seminar. The seminar was designed on the principles of participatory and experimental learning. This Fruitful Seminar will enable participants to acquire knowledge, apply it and spread it to the corporate world.

Closing Remarks:

Chief guest Dr. Jalil Ahmed Malik, HoD Accounting and Finance’s Program thanked organizers for arranging a successful seminar. The faculty members also appreciated students for active participation. At the end guest of honor Dr. Jalil Ahmed delivered the closing remarks and presented a souvenir to the guest.
