Department of English Held a Seminar on “Forum – A New Platform to Share Research”

The Department of English has established a research platform (Forum) to discuss the research activities of the faculty members. The forum will be held on monthly basis to discuss contemporary research ideas and trends. The first forum was held on November 01, 2022. Ms. Asma Qandeel, Associate Lecturer, Department of English, highlighted the notions of Postmodernism and Narrative Fiction through her research article entitled ‘War, Delusion of Progress and Religious Confusion: Critical Metaphor Analysis of Doerr’s All the Light We Cannot See’. A scholarly discussion was also held between the faculty members on the aforementioned topic. At the end, Prof. Dr. M. Umer Farooq, Head of the Department, thanked the speaker and encouraged the faculty members to actively participate in the future meetings.
