Seminar on “Current Economic Issues of Pakistan.”

Department of Management Sciences has organized the seminar on “Current Economic Issues of Pakistan.” held on Oct 30, 2019 under the supervision of Ms. Rabia Habib. Our honorable speaker was “Mr. Wasiq Qayyum Abbasi (MPA) Chairman Punjab Education.”

The guests were received with bouquets. Right after the recitation of Holy Quran Mr. Wasiq Qayyum Abbasi delivered an informational lecture on Current Economic issues of Pakistan. He mainly focused on current economic issues of Pakistan and how to overcome these issues. He said that Pakistan’s economic crisis cannot be resolved overnight. To make a significant impact on the current account deficit, Pakistan needs to ensure an investment-friendly environment that attracts more foreign direct investment (FDI), instead of relying so heavily on foreign aid. Overall the session was interactive, students showed quite an interest in the topic. Students asked questions to the guest speaker after the seminar ended. The seminar was a great source of information for the students.

At the end, Ms. Rabia Habib presented a university souvenir to the worthy chief guest.
