Seminar on HR Forum

The students of MBA regular Faculty of Management and Social Sciences, under the supervision of Dr. Muzaffar Asad, conducted a one-day forum on the industrial issues related to Human resource management on June 12, 2019. Six human resource Executives from reputable Companies were invited to discuss the issues that industries are facing now a days. All the participants praised the efforts of Capital University of Science and Technology in bridging the gap between industry and academia. More than 200 students were enriched with the knowledge of the speakers. The activity was an effort to bridge industry with academia.

The activity enriched the students with the knowledge of the practitioners, so that they may realize what the practitioners look for in a candidate. Secondly, such activities also help the academia to understand the issues faced by the industries while hiring the employees. This will bridge the gap between industry and academia. And will help academia to understand the need of the industry so that they may tailor their education as per the need of the industry.
