Webinar Session on “Skill Development and GPA Conundrum”

On 12th June, IEEE CUST Student Branch organized a webinar session regarding “Skill Development and GPA Conundrum” on Cisco WebEx Meetings in collaboration with IEEE Islamabad Section. The speaker was Mr. Qazi Abdul Moqueet, Patron IEEE CUST Student Branch and a motivational speaker. The session started at 5:00 pm. Mr. Qazi Moqueet enlightened the participants with a dark reality, student’s obsession of GPA in the society. He mentioned that GPA should not be the measure to judge and evaluate student’s intellect as GPA obsession restrains creativity. He emphasized on a point that the students should focus on their skill development rather than worrying about securing GPA because in the end good GPA without any skill is just a number that will have no importance in professional life. The session ended at 6:00 pm.
