Dr. Arshad Hassan

Dr. Arshad Hassan is Professor of finance with consulting, research and teaching experiences in corporate reporting, corporate finance, portfolio management and financial risk management.Dr. Hassan is certified cost and management accountant and has 10 years of experience of working as professional accountant / auditor in public as well as private sector. He also holds membership of various professional bodies in accounting and finance.He is member of faculty board/Research Board of many prestigious institutions. Dr. Hassan’s research and writings covers a variety of topics ranging from asset pricing to Islamic Finance. He has more than 20 papers published in refereed academic journals to his credit.He has also presented number of research paper at academic /professional conferences in Pakistan, Turkey and USA. He is on editorial boards of various local and international indexed journals.

Dr. S. M. Mehdi Raza

Dr. Sayyed Muhammad Mehdi Raza Naqvi holds a Ph.D. in Management Sciences from Muhammad Ali Jinnah University, Islamabad. He also completed his Master’s in Science (Management Sciences) from the same university and earned another Master’s degree in Economics from Punjab University, Lahore, specializing in Econometrics and Human Capital Planning. Presently, he holds the position of Head of the Department of Management Sciences, serves as the Director of the Jinnah Business Research Center, and fulfills the role of Editor-in-Chief for the Jinnah Business Review, a research journal of the Faculty of Management and Social Sciences at Capital University of Science and Technology. He is with 29 years of experience encompassing teaching, research, training, coaching & mentoring, consulting, management, and strategic planning. He is a distinguished professor, trainer, and consultant specializing in Strategic Management, Research Methodology, Conflict and Negotiation, and Organization Theory. He is with over 30 papers published in esteemed academic journals. Additionally, he has successfully supervised 13 PhD candidates and nearly 100 MS theses.

Dr. Ansir Ali Rajput

Dr. Rajput holds Ph.D. – Entrepreneurship, MBA – Entrepreneurship & Marketing (Babson College, USA: No. 1 in MBA Entrepreneurship) and BSEE, SUNY at Buffalo, USA. Dr. Rajput was the founding entrepreneur of Personalized Gifts, USA (1993-1997). Upon completing his MBA, he relocated to Pakistan and joined System Research Private Limited, Islamabad as Director Marketing (1997-1998). He switched to academia and became Program Coordinator, MBA Programs, Hamdard University. (1998-1999). Later on, he joined Mohammad Ali Jinnah University-MAJU as Program Coordinator, MBA Programs and was promoted as Program Manager and Associate Professor (1999-2007) and later he headed the department of Management and Social Sciences (2007-2010). Currently, he is Associated Professor, Marketing and Entrepreneurship, and Head, Entrepreneurship Development Center at Capital University of Science and Technology. Dr. Rajput has 20+ years of teaching & training, coaching & mentoring, consulting & venture creation, branding and communications and management and strategic Planning. He is renowned professor, trainer and consultant in the areas of: Entrepreneurship, Social and SME Planning and Development. International Business, Strategic Marketing, Branding and Communications and Planning. Dr. M. Ishfaq Khan

I enjoy the inner satisfaction by mentoring students and contributing in their career development process. To prepare adequately for a teaching career, I have completed my PhD in Management Sciences and MS in Management Sciences from COMSATS, Islamabad. Before this, I have completed my Master of Business Administration from Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, Islamabad Campus. Furthermore, I have completed Post Graduate Diploma in computer sciences from International Islamic University, Islamabad. I have started my teaching career in 2003 and I have commitment with myself that I will keep my skills aligned with the demand of time to make my students competitive that is founding element that required being successful in competitive economies. I love to teach entrepreneurship, marketing, international business and managerial ethics Words that describe me: honest, sincere, loyal, moral, persistent, aggressive, dynamic.

Dr. Imran Riaz Malik

Dr. Ahsan M. Ahmed

Enthusiastic, energetic and motivated professional with track record of almost 6.5 years teaching experience & 4 years of overseas experience in the areas of Human Resources and Administration as well as Customer Services. Proven ability in providing personnel and administrative support, organizing responsibilities and handling HR roles. Displayed skills in performing well under pressure, meeting organizational objectives and dealing with multicultural clientele. Quick learner and adaptive by nature with good communication, planning, coordination, time management, and leadership skills with presentable personality and professional business style. Mr. Nasir Rasool

Mr. Nasir Rasool has 20 an experience of over 20 years. That includes teaching experience 17 years and corporate experience of 3 years. He has supervised a large number of research studies during his teaching career. His corporate experience includes a solid training and consultancy exposure in Pakistan as well as in Afghanistan and Sri Lanka. He has worked with national and international social sector organizations and delivered trainings in all areas of management. He has also worked with different organizations as a consultant and helped them in developing their financial systems.

Dr. M. Saboor Ahmed

Over the past few years, I have developed a great interest in computer science, software development, and the IT industry. However, my motivation for studying computer science took shape from very early on, when elementary school introduced me to computers. The novelty, rapid pace of change, precision and different approach to information of computer science deepened my interest in this field, leading me towards pursuing this subject in my university studies.

Dr. Maria Mashkoor

Ms. Maria Mashkoor is Assistant Professor and also currently a PhD Scholar at CUST, working on her Thesis in the field of HRM. She has previously done MS in HRM from CUST and Masters in International Business Management from University of Westminster, London, UK. She joined Academia in 2007 and has served at many different positions such as BBA Program Coordinator, Social Events Coordinator, Member of JBR team, Member of Board of Studies, Member of Cafeteria Committee; Member of Newsletter Committee, Member of Discipline Committee, Member of Budget Committee, Member of MAJU Alumni Society (MAJUAS), Member of HR track, ICETEM and Member of Sports Gala. She has also been Patron of NEXUS (the Marketing Society) and Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).

Dr. Shazia Faiz

Dr. Shazia Faiz completed her PhD degree in Human Resource Management (HRM) from Capital University of Science & Technology Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2017. She joined Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi as Assistant Professor (October 2018-September 2019). Currently she is working as Assistant Professor in Capital University of Science & Technology Islamabad, Pakistan. Her research interests are Perceived Organizational Politics, Leadership, Spiritual Intelligence and Workplace Attitudes & Behaviors (e.g., Incivility, Creativity).

Dr. Iftikhar Ali Janjua

Miss Rabia Habib completed the MS degree in Finance & Business Management from the University of Bedfordshire, U.K., in 2013, and joined academia where she has worked as Lecturer since Sept. 2014. Her area of interests are Psychological biases in financial investment behaviour, Applying behavioral finance to asset allocation, Analyst recommendation and corporate failure, Greed and fear in the stock market and Limit to Arbitrage Theory. Miss Rabia’s degrees in Business has enabled her to develop analytical/logical approach to tasks and aptitude to work under pressure. She wants to gain full expertise in Finance, takes every task as a challenge and strives to work in a competitive environment. Miss Rabia struggles to expand her knowledge from every experience because she believes that there is always room for self-improvement.

Mr. Hafiz M. Adnan

Motivated, energetic and enthusiastic professional with diverse experience of almost 10 years teaching experience & 8 years of practicing lawyer. I start working as a practicing lawyer in 2006 and enroll as an advocate of high courts in 2010. In 2008 start part time teaching to chartered accountancy students and others. Since 2015 to date, I am working as lecturer in Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad.

Mr. S. Faraz Ali Shah

Sayed Faraz Ali Shah, holds MS- Sales & Marketing from SZABIST Islamabad, MBA – Marketing from University of Sindh, Advance Diploma in Leadership and Business Development from Canberra Institute of Technology Australia and Certified Train The Trainer from Skill City South Asia. He joined academia at CUST as full time Senior Lecture for Sales and Marketing. Prior to that He had worked in various sectors of Industry from Retail, Distribution, Marketing, Construction, Supply Chain, Training & Development that consist of twenty-three years of professional experience. During his Industry engagement, Mr. Faraz has also taught in leading Universities of Pakistan as Visiting Faculty like IBA Karachi, SZABIST, IBA Sukkur, Bahria University Islamabad, International Islamic University etc. Mr. Faraz has an exposure of working in Pakistani and overseas markets (Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Turkia, Australia, New Zealand, United States) resulting in hands on experience in all channels of Management Science. His practical knowledge on all facets of Sales, Marketing, Retail, Distribution & Supply Chain strategically connects the knowledge of Industry with Academia to better prepare students for future challenges in Pakistani Markets.

Mr. M. Irfan Mustafa

A Lecturer at Capital University of Science and Technology, and a Project Management Professional/Consultant, Mr. Muhammad Irfan Mustafa has done his MS in Project Management from Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad and Software Engineering from the UK. He is currently a member of Project Management Institute (PMI), Association for Project Management (APM), a Professional Member of British Computing Society (BCS) and an Associate member of Association of Business Executives (ABE) UK. He has worked on various successful projects for well-known organisations including AIRBUS UK, e-ID UK, Orange UK, AX Pulse and KAISPE. He is a trainer for Oracle’s Primavera P6 Professional and Oracle’s Primavera Risk Analysis. His research interest is in Project Stakeholder Management, Project Risk Management, Requirements Engineering, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT). He is also a member of British Parachute Association and actively involved in backpacking & hiking.

Ms. Sarah Nawaz

Ms. Sarah Nawaz Malik possesses a diverse academic background having degrees in both Humanities and Management Sciences domain. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD in the field of Management. Her areas of interest include Organizational Behaviour, Industrial Psychology and Business Communication. She also supervises research thesis/projects and teaches courses in Communication skills, Business Communication, English I and English II.

Ms. Javeria Khalid

Ms. Javeria Khalid has 10 years of working experience in different organizations like USAID, Deloitte, SZABIST and NUMS. She has done double Masters Gold Medalist in M.phill Management Sciences; She is a ‘Certified Lead Auditor of ISO 9001:2015 (QMS). She has extensive experience in managing training, administrative work and human resource affairs gained over relatively a short span of time through commitment under thoughtful supervisors. She has a proven record of accomplishment in administration; human resource; quality control; and auditing of quality management systems. She is very well conversant with management procedures and affairs combined with an energetic personality; and good interpersonal & human skills, she also possesses experience in teaching undergraduate/Master’s programs as a visiting faculty in different institutions in Islamabad.

Mr. Imad-ud-Din

Imad-ud-Din is Lecturer of Project Management with teaching experiences in Project Management, Quantitative Reasoning, Statistics & Probability and Analytical Reasoning. He is a professional consultant (With an immense experience in Live-Stock (Dairy & Meat), Restaurant and businesses along Motorways) for Business Management including idea initiation, business planning, budgeting, business execution and other business-related issues.

Dr. Sabahat Haqqani

Sabahat Haqqani graduated with a silver medal in M.Sc. Behavioral Sciences from Fatima Jinnah Women University, Pakistan (FJWU) in 2009. She was awarded HEC faculty development scholarship to complete PhD in Clinical Psychology from The University of Edinburgh, UK. She is practicing academician, researcher and clinical psychologist. She served as a lecturer at FJWU from 2010 to 2019 and joined Capital University of Science and Technology in September 2019 as an Assistant Professor. Since 2021, she is working as Head of Psychology Department. She is also In-charge of Wellbeing and Daycare Centers at the university. She has been involved in conducting psychological assessment, psychotherapy/ counselling and clinical trainings and supervision in school, college, special education, university, hospital, and private clinical settings. She is currently working on several funded and non-funded projects including development of intervention for depression, anxiety and stress, and psychological assessment tools. She has taught wide range of courses including counselling and psychotherapy, statistical analyses, research methodology, psychological assessment, experimental psychology and ethics. Her research interests include self-harm, suicide, interpersonal relationships, marital satisfaction, designing interventions for mental health concerns of youth, women and elderly, and designing behavioral insight interventions for traffic management, agriculture and mental health.

Dr. Ishrat Yousaf

Dr. Ishrat Yousaf received her doctorate in Psychology from the Department of Psychology, University of Peshawar, Pakistan in 2015 and joined academia as a faculty member. Since 2015, she has been appointed as an Assistant Professor and earned 9 years of work experience in multiple Higher education institutions. During this period, she has voluminous contribution to higher education. Since 2019, she has been appointed as an Assistant Professor at the Capital University of Science and Technology. She remained involved in research grants and has been awarded for several research projects as a Principal Investigator, and Co-principal Investigator on competitive merit from Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. She led and work on collaborative research projects in the areas of HIV/AIDS and mental health; contextualizing and developing an adapted e-health intervention for improving care for youth with substance use disorder; and developing indigenous intervention for youth to reduce psychological disorders to prevent and promote mental wellbeing in project as a Co-PI. Dr. Yousaf’s research interests are in the areas of health and clinical Psychology, particularly in the prevention, assessment and intervention of mental health among youth, patients with HIV/AIDS, substance use disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders.

Dr. Uzma Rani

Dr. Uzma Rani completed her PhD degree in Psychology from the School of Social Sciences Universiti Sains Malaysia, in 2021, and joined academia where she worked at different Universities as Assistant Professor in Psychology. She has also foreign teaching experience. She has supervised psychology undergraduate students in their research projects. She authored four research papers in international recognized journals, and has strong interest in conducting qualitative research on national and international levels. . Her Research interests are Social Work, Positive Psychology, Industrial Psychology, Migration studies and Intervention development in Green Social Work field.

Ms. Sadaf Zeb

Ms. Sadaf Zeb is currently working as a Senior Lecturer at Capital University of Science & Technology Islamabad. She has more than 5 years of teaching experience and has expertise in different therapies including marital & family counseling, Hypnosis, Eye movement desensitization and Trauma based Eidetic therapy. Her research interest areas include clinical psychology, addictive behaviors, and social psychology. She also worked in collaboration with international researchers on different research articles.

Mr. M. Zeeshan Iltaf

Zeeshan Iltaf did his MS in clinical Psychology from International Islamic University Islamabad in 2017. After doing MS, he worked as an internee in Benazir Bhutto Hospital, Rawalpindi. He also worked as a drug Counsellor in various Rehabilitation centers. Moreover, he offered his services as a college Psychologist in Fazaia Inter-College, Jinnah Camp, Rawalpindi to help improve the mental health of college students. As a faculty member and a researcher , he supervised research thesis for numerous students at BS level.

Ms. Annum Tanweer

Ms. Annum Tanweer, PhD Scholar, graduated with MS in Clinical Psychology degree from National University of Science and Technology in 2016, brings a wealth of expertise with over 7 years of teaching at a university level and clinical practice. As a PhD Scholar, Ms. Annum Tanweer has been working with identifying and treating mental health concerns amongst adolescents, contributing to both academic and practical knowledge. In addition to her academic responsibilities, she is a practicing Clinical Psychologist, specialized in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. The specialization underscores her commitment to applying evidence based therapeutic techniques for various mental health concerns. She is also regularly invited as a guest speaker to deliver talks and seminars to hundreds of students and faculty members in numerous educational and private institutions which highlights her dedication towards mental health advocacy.

Ms. Uzma Mushtaq

Ms. Uzma Mushtaq is experienced lecturer in Psychology offering subject knowledge of creating, engaging and interactive learning environments to nurture students’ understanding of psychological concepts, Skilled in delivering comprehensive lectures, conducting research with special interests in clinical psychology, child psychology and mentoring students. She has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a passion for empowering students to develop critical thinking abilities and apply psychological theories in practical settings. Ms. Irum Noureen

Ms. Irum Noureen is Lecturer at CUST. She has previously done MPhil in Psychology from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. She joined Academia in 2020. Her Area of interest include Educational Psychology and Developmental Psychology.

Ms. Aysha Aneeq

Ms. Aysha Aneeq has MPhil Degree in Counseling Psychology. She is working as an educationist and a researcher for more than 10 years. Teaching is her passion and her motive is to flourish in an organization possessing the wealth of a fertile academic and research oriented environment. She has research interests in the areas of Educational Psychology, Intervention based studies in Psychology, Qualitative Research, and issues concerning adolescents and young adults as population of interest. In parallel, she is enthusiastically involved in the university teaching and supervising undergraduate students in their research projects.

Ms. Anam Mehmood

Anam Mahmood is a qualified and experienced psychology lecturer based in Islamabad, Pakistan. She holds MPhil Psychology from the Quaid-i-Azam University. She is passionate about educating students and helping them develop a deep understanding of psychological concepts. She uses interactive teaching methods and real-world examples to engage her students and make the material relatable. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she is also involved in research. Ms. Asima Munawar

Ms. Asima Munawar completed her Master of Science in Clinical Psychology in 2019, subsequently joining academia as a faculty member. She was awarded a Gold Medal for her outstanding academic performance during her MS program. Ms. Munawar is an enthusiastic, meticulous, and dedicated individual with a robust academic background in Clinical Psychology. She is specifically trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Behavior Therapy and offers her services as a clinical psychologist. Additionally, Ms. Munawar has six publications in peer-reviewed, impact-factor journals, as well as multiple conference presentations. She has also provided research supervision to numerous postgraduate and undergraduate students.

Ms. Iqra Kiran

Ms. Iqra Kiran received her MS Degree in Clinical Psychology from Foundation University, Islamabad in 2019. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychology at Bahria University Islamabad. She worked as a Research Assistant at Human Development Research Foundation over a period of two-years. She initiated her academic journey in 2021 and has since amassed a wealth of experience as a lecturer in both public and private sectors. Demonstrating her commitment to nurturing future professionals, she has overseen clinical internships and research thesis of BS and MS students in Psychology and Clinical Psychology. She conducted a workshop at an International Conference hosted by the University of Management and Technology, Lahore. She holds memberships with esteemed organizations such as American Psychological Association (APA) and the Pakistan Association for Cognitive Therapies (PACT). She served her services as a Clinical Psychologist across various clinical setups in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and Lahore, Ms. Kiran specializes in addressing a range of psychological disorders including depression, anxiety, OCD, and relationship issues. She is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and hypnotherapy, reflecting her dedication to evidence-based practice.

Ms. Sumia Kalsoom

Ms. Sumia Kalsoom is perusing her PhD from University of Central Punjab, Lahore in Clinical Psychology. She has completed her MS Clinical Psychology in 2017 from Bahria University, Islamabad. She is currently working as a Lecturer at Capital University of Science & Technology Islamabad. She has more than 6 years of professional experience including academia, clinical settings and research. She has served as lecturer both in public and private sector universities, including Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad, Air University, Islamabad, Women University Swabi and University of Swabi. She has more than 2 years of experience in different clinical and hospital settings. She is a skilled clinical psychologist with expertise in different areas including hypnosis, family therapy, stress management, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. Ms. Sumia Kalsoom is a member of APA (C2304572095), certified Hypnotherapist by National Guild of Hypnotists, certified Good Clinical Practitioner by NIDA Clinical Trial Network, certified Good Research Practitioner by Medical Research Council and certified systematic reviewer by Cochrane Interactive Learning. Her main research areas are clinical psychology, family therapy, geriatric depression and organizational psychology.

Ms. Tehmina Mazhar

Miss Tehmina Mazhar received her M. Phil degree in Counseling Psychology from Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi, Pakistan in 2019 and joined academia as a faculty member. In 2020, she got appointed as Counselor and Faculty of psychology as visiting member of Akhuwat College for girls in Chakwal. Later, she also got selected as permanent faculty at Apex college, Chakwal where she served for a year almost. In 2023, she got employment at Capital University of Sciences and Technology, Islamabad. Since, 2023 she is serving as lecturer psychology at CUST, Islamabad. She has been involved in teaching multiple psychology courses there and has supervised as well as evaluated multiple thesis projects of graduate students up till now.

Dr. Jaleel Ahmed Malik

Dr. Jaleel Ahmed Malik is Assistant Professor of finance with research and teaching experiences in corporate finance and financial economics. Dr. Zeeshan Ahmed

Dr. Zeeshan Ahmed is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting and Finance, Capital University of Science & Technology, Islamabad. He earned his PhD degree from University Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS). He has more than ten years industry, teaching and research experience. His main research area is in Finance.

Dr. Anam Tariq

Dr. Anam Tariq holds doctorate in management sciences (Finance). She joined academics in 2019 and has extensive teaching and research experience in green finance, corporate finance, financial economics and data analysis. Her research work emphasizes on finance and its effective impact on climate change mitigation She has research publications in renowned international journals and conference proceedings to her credit.

Ms. Sadaf Adalat

Ms. Saddaf Adalat is currently doing PhD (Finance) from Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad. She has almost 4 years of teaching experience. She has done MS in Finance from Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad. She started her teaching career as a Visiting Lecturer from Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad in 2018. She also worked at International Islamic University, Islamabad for one years. She has also achieved Merit and High Distinction Holder certifications from university.

Dr. M. Umar Farooq

Professor Dr Muhammad Umar Farooq is working as Head of the Department of English at CUST. He earned his PhD in English (Applied Linguistics) with specialization in Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL) and teacher development. He has teaching experience of more than 30 years at higher education institutions in Pakistan and abroad. He has published three books and more than 50 articles in reputable international and Pakistani research journals. He has organized and presented at national and international ELT conferences. Based on his PhD research, he won a grant from the Higher Education Commission and established the first Self-Access Centre at Allama Iqbal Open University. He represents CUST on academic committees of various universities. He has been an active member of many national and international organizations. At CUST, he is a member of the Executive Council, Academic Council, BASR, and other academic committees. Besides BS and MS English (Linguistics), he has initiated several academic and professional development activities to improve the teaching and learning environment. He is Editor of the CUST Newsletter which covers academic achievements and activities. Also, he is Editor of SPELL Magazine, a platform that provides an opportunity for students to publish their work. He has organized teacher development sessions at public schools/colleges in the vicinity as community service.

Dr. M. Saqib Zaigham

Dr. Muhammad Saqib Zaigham is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of English, Capital University of Science & Technology, Islamabad. He earned his PhD degree from University of Bakht Alruda, Sudan. He has more than twenty three years teaching experience, at university level in Pakistan and abroad. His main research area is in Phonetics & Phonology.

Ms. Saeeda Ibrahim

Ms. Saeeda Ibrahim is working as senior Lecturer in the Department of English, Capital University of Science & Technology, Islamabad. She earned her Master’s degree from the University of Punjab. She has more than 20 years teaching experience.

Mr. Inam Elahi

Mr. Inam Elahi is a Ph.D. scholar at IIU Islamabad, an M.Phil. in English Linguistics, Master in English Literature, PGD in TEFL, Certified in UbD from USA and a skilled & experienced faculty member of English Department. He is a Senior Lecturer. CDA of Print Media in Pakistan is his research work. From the University of the Punjab, he did his Master in English Literature and earned a degree of M. Phil from UOL. He has a vast experience in teaching at Graduate & under graduate levels. As VFM (visiting faculty member) he taught in different universities in Islamabad. Inam attended international conferences on Education in USA & India. He is also Certified in Instructional Leadership from College of Education Amherst, University of Massachusetts USA where he completed his Understanding by Design (UbD), a curriculum development program. Inam is also expert at backward designing.

Ms. Uzma Arshad

Uzma Arshad completed the MPhil in Linguistics from the University of University of AJ&K Muzaffarabad 2006, and joined academia where she worked at different universities including NUML; Bahria University, Quaid -e- Azam university Islamabad. Uzma Arshad research interests are in Phonetics and Phonology, code Switching and Corpus Linguistics. She has supervised numerous BS research articles to the students of BS program at NUML Islamabad. She got souvenir from different Colleges of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

Ms. Naveeda Fazal Haq

Ms. Naveeda Fazal Haq is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of English at Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad. She did her Masters in Language and Literature from National University of Modern Languages, Islamabad, Masters in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), Masters in Applied Linguistic Research (MA Res) and Certificate in English Language Teaching to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA) from UK. She is a certified English language teacher and has been teaching English to learners with diverse educational, ethnic and linguistic backgrounds for more than 15 years.

Mr. Maqsood Alam

Mr. Maqsood Alam has completed his MPhil in English Literature from Qurtuba University, Peshawar, KPK, in 2017. Mr. Alam has started his professional career as a teacher in 2013. He has taught at good and well reputed institutions prior to join Capital University of Science and Technology in September 2017. Mr. Alam has excellent inter- and intra-personal communication skills, and he is always ready to take extra responsibilities.

Ms. Asma Naz

Ms Asma Naz is currently working as a Lecturer at C.U.S.T., Islamabad. She is responsible for teaching many courses to students of varying disciplines. Her teaching assignments have included allied as well as core Linguistics courses. As an instructor, she believes in developing life-long learners of the language. She employs a pragmatic approach of meeting students at their level and moving them into the zone of proximal development through scaffolding. Additionally, she performs responsibilities such as course coordinator, batch advisor, in charge of the Academic Writing Center, and report writer of different events at the departmental level. Also, she is the patron-in-chief of the Cust Art and Literary Club and a member of the Cust Health and Safety Club. Aside from her teaching and administrative assignments, she is also required to train students for various writing and speaking competitions such as essay and story writing, debate, and impromptu speech competitions. She has also trained many students for debates and speeches.

Ms. Faiza Arshad

Ms. Faiza Arshad has done MS in English (Linguistics & Literature) from COMSATS University, Islamabad. She started her career as an English Teacher and Subject Specialist at Siddeeq Public School in Rawalpindi. She has worked at Fazaia Inter College Nur khan for eleven years. She has worked as an English News Caster in Radio Pakistan, Islamabad. Her areas of interest in research are; Translation Studies, Feminism, Discourse Analysis, Literary Theories and Bilingualism.

Ms. Asma Qandeel

Mr. M. Aneeb Fazal

Mr. M. Aneeb Fazal is currently doing PhD in English Linguistics from National University of Modern Languages, Islamabad. He has done MS in English (Linguistics & Literature) from COMSATS University, Islamabad. He started his teaching career as a Lecturer from Grafton College, Islamabad in 2016. He also worked at The University of Lahore, Islamabad Campus for three years. He has also achieved various certifications from several foreign educational organizations. Mr. Aneeb’s research interests include Corpus Linguistics, Corpus stylistics and Forensic Linguistics. He has also supervised a number of MA English research dissertations.

Ms. Farrah Iqbal

Farrah Iqbal is working as a Lecturer in the Department of English, Capital University of Science & Technology, Islamabad. She is a PhD Scholar and she earned her MS degree from Foundation University Islamabad. She has more than eight years of teaching and research experience. Her main research area is Eco linguistics.

Mr. Sikandar Seemab

Mr. Sikandar Seemab received his M.Phil degree in English Linguistics from NUML, Islamabad in 2019. He is an educational professional with more than 10 years of teaching experience at college and university levels in Pakistan. Currently, he holds a permanent position as an English Lecturer at the Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST). Additionally, he served as a visiting English Lecturer at various prestigious institutions, including the International Islamic University in Islamabad, NUML, and Bahria University in Islamabad. At Bahria College's Zafar Campus, Islamabad, he worked on the role of Head of Department for English. With his extensive experience across different educational settings and eclectic teaching style, he strives to offer a variety of lectures to appeal to all types of learners.
