Dr. M Abdul Qadir

Twenty five years of my career can be categorized into three main areas as industry, academia and management. I am currently actively involved in teaching / R&D and academic management. I have been teaching and doing research in the development of simple and efficient algorithms to solve real-life problems by using soft computing. From times to times, I have been focusing on problems in different domains. My current focus is on semantic web, multimedia semantics, Ontologies, distributed systems and bioinformatics as is clear from more than 80 research publications in international refereed proceedings and journals. I have been playing a leading role in the management of industry and academia and have produced significant results in achieving the goals of these R&D organizations. I have played a pivotal role in the organization of three international conferences in Pakistan. I am also on the program committees of various international conferences. I have presented myscholarly work in many conferences all over the world. In the first five years of my carrier I was involved in the design and development of systems in the areas of Electronic (analogue & digital), Integration of Electronics with Optics, Development of interfaces between heterogeneous electronics systems / modules by different vendors, system level production facility design and management, understanding the ballistic computing systems for main battle tanks, Integration of thermal imaging system with existing ballistic computers, and successful tests & field trials of these systems in the main battle tanks. My multi-dimensional experience of work in industry, academia, management and consultancy in different sectors has been an excellent help to solve high-tech challenging problems as well as to lead projects & organizations. I enjoy an exceptional combination of technical and communication skills which have always been helpful in getting work done from all the team members. I am very much interested in utilization of my energies in the development of higher education, research institutions and technical organizations in developing countries like Pakistan.

Dr. Abdul Basit Siddiqui

Dr. Abdul Basit completed PhD in Computer Science in 2010 from National University of Computer & Emerging Sciences (NUCES) FAST Islamabad. Later he worked in different universities in Pakistan on different positions. In 2014, he joined Dept. of Computer Science in Saudi Electronics University, Jeddah and after serving almost two years there, he travelled to Canada for further research. He joined Capital University of Science & Technology in 2018. Dr. Siddiqui has been member of different university and HEC level committees including National Curriculum and Revision Committee for Computer Science in 2012-2013. He earned scholarships at different stages of education which include Ministry of Science & Technology (MoST) scholarship in 2000 and HEC MS leading to PhD scholarship. Dr. Siddiqui has authored more than 20 international conferences and journal publications. He is also co-author of two international books. There are a number of MS and PhD scholars working under his supervision.

Dr. Nayyer Masood

Nayyer Masood has been teaching at university level for more than 25 years. He started his career from Bahauddin Zakariay Unviersity, Multan and is among the pioneer teachers of the department. He played pivotal role in initiating different programs in the Department of Computer Science at the BZU Multan. Later he did his PhD from University of Bradford, UK and rejoined BZU Multan. Meanwhile he also served at different universities or degree awarding institutes like Barani Institute of Information Technology, Rawalpindi and COMSATS Wah. Later he served at Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, Islamabad as Associate Professor and Head of Computer Science Department. for more than eight years. Currently he is serving as HoD Computer Science at Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad. He is mainly involved in teaching Database related courses.

Dr. Amir Qayyum

Self motivated and ambitious, having both management and technical expertise with leadership skills to effectively lead a team; creative and visionary thought leader, numerous publications and co-author of an RFC in IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) about mobile ad hoc networks; Fifteen years of teaching experience at Masters and Ph.D. level, including professional trainings, seminars and conferences in the area of networking; also supervising many MS and Ph.D students in their research; Ten years of administration and management experience as Dean Faculty of Engineering, Head of Electronic Engineering Department and Chairman of Computer Engineering department; plus more than eight years of experience as Project Director of many R&D projects, managing all activities including project planning, budget planning and management, HR management and development and other technical activities; Seven years of industry experience, including four years as technical team lead, in networks and data communications, protocol stack development and system design; Actively involved with IEEE Islamabad Section (since 2005); Chair IEEE Computer Society Islamabad Chapter (since June 2009), Secretary and Treasurer IEEE Islamabad Section (2011 - 2013); Chair Executive Council Internet Society (ISOC) Islamabad Chapter; Expertise in network routing protocols, IPv4 and IPv6, Wireless and Mobile networking, IEEE 802.11 and 802.16, QoS, VoIP, IPSec and Network Security; good understanding of project management, HR development with personal leadership, finance, industrial psychology, organizational leadership, professional ethics, etc.; Multi-cultural personality with understanding of many languages and having done extensive tourism all around the world.

Dr. M. Masroor Ahmed

Dr. M. Masroor Ahmed received MS and PhD degrees in Computer Science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia, in 2006 and 2009, respectively. He joined academia in 2010 and has worked in various positions. He is currently working as Professor in the Department of Computer Science, Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST), Islamabad. He has participated in numerous research and industrial projects both as a researcher and as a team lead. He has published more than 25 research papers in renowned scientific journals and conferences. His research focuses on medical image processing, biometric systems, pattern recognition and computational optimization.

Dr. Muhammad Riaz

Dr. Muhammad Riaz is currently working as an Associate Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad. He has been working in different private and public university in electrical and electronics engineering departments. His research area is microelectronics.

Dr. M. Siraj Rathore

Dr. Siraj has blend of experience both from academia and IT industry. He completed his Master of Computer Science in 2001 from University of Arid Agriculture Rawalpindi. Then he started his professional career and served as a software engineer at Pakistan International Computer Limited (PICL). He contributed in various software development projects at PICL. Meanwhile he also enrolled in MS Computer Engineering program at Center for Advanced Studies in Engineering (CASE, UET Taxila) and completed degree in 2005. After that, Dr. Rathore started his academic career as a faculty member at UET Taxila. Later he joined KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden as a PhD student. At KTH, he worked at networked systems laboratory and actively participated in international ICT research projects. He also served as a consultant at Ericsson Stockholm. He came back to Pakistan in 2019 and joined Barani Institute of Information Technology Rawalpindi as an Assistant Professor. Currently he is working as an Assistant Professor at Capital University of Science and Technology. He is the member of Advanced Network and Security research group and published several research articles in the prestigious international journals and conferences.

Dr. S. Saqib Raza Rizvi

Dr. Syed Saqib Raza Rizvi completed his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the National College of Business Administration Economics, Lahore Pakistan, in 2020 in the field of Machine Learning. He joined academia in 2012 where he worked in different positions including Lecturer and Assistant Professor and Head of Department in well-reputed institutes of the country. He also provides consultancy to different institutes and research students locally and abroad. He has more than 12 years of experience in the field of higher education and the IT industry. Dr. Syed Saqib Raza’s research interests are in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision etc. He has supervised numerous MS and currently co supervising one Ph.D. research thesis. He authored eight ISI-indexed and impact factor research papers and four conference publication.

Mr. Fahim Shahzad

Mr. Fahim Shahzad completed the MS degree in Personal, Mobile Satellite Communications from the University of Bradford, U.K., and joined academia. His research interests are in Computer Networks and the Internet of Things.

Dr. Bilal Ahmad

I completed my masters in 2010 and bachelors in 2006. I have strong interest in computer networks. In my career I have worked with various groups that were involved in establishing and configuring networks. I am capable of configuring and deploying CISCO switches, router, firewalls, red hat linux server, squid proxy server, windows server 2003, windows server 2008, active directory server, dhcp servers, establishing VPN connections. Above all this I love teaching as a professional career as this open my mind towards new dimensions.

Mr. Salman Ahmed

Mr. Salman Ahmed is currently working as a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science Department of Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad, where he is also coordinating the department labs. He did his MS(CS) degree in Software Engineering from Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, Islamabad. During his MS(CS) degree he was appointed as a Junior Lecturer in 2011. He has been allied with academia from the last 4 years. His research area is Mobile agents Communication and RDF Graphs. He was also associated with Pakistan Electronic Media Regularity Authority (PEMRA) as a web developer in 2010.

Ms. Rifhat Hashim

Rifhat has extensive experience of Six years as Lecturer of Computer Science and skilled developer of Web Application. In addition, She exhibits expertise in Mobile Application Development using React Native, Web Application Development using React js, Node js , Mongo Db ,many other languages like flutter,C#,asp.net mvc , java and documented history of successful teaching.

Ms. Rabea Saleem

Ms. Rabea Saleem currently serves as an Senior Lecturer in the Computer Science department at CUST. She completed her master’s degree in computer science from Air University,Multan Campus in 2018. With almost 9 years of extensive experience in both college and university. Her research areas include NLP, Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence.

Mr. M. Zeeshan Sabir

Mr. Zeeshan Sabir completed the Master degree in Information Security from the Riphah institute of System Engineering (RISE), Islamabad and have done Software Engineering from UET.He worked at various positions including software engineer in Pakistan Telecommunication Cooperation Ltd Islamabad, Web developer in Dewintec, Network administrator in Asian Building System (ABS) making him a perfect fit to join academia. He worked as lecturer in Riphah International University and now working in Capital university of Science and Technology Islamabad to make quality factor sustainable in its educational services. During his career he has completed several exciting projects in information systems.

Fizza Asif

Ms. Fizza Asif earned her MPhil in Computer Science from Quaid-i-Azam University. She has worked as a Lecturer at Federal University and served as a Visiting Lecturer at Quaid-i-Azam University, Federal University, and Siblee College Faisalabad. Currently, she is a Lecturer at Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST), Islamabad. Her research interests lie in Natural Language Processing (NLP), with a focus on exploring applications in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. She is actively enhancing her expertise in advanced data engineering and Teradata, specializing in large-scale data management.

Ms. Yafra Khan

Ms. Yafra Khan completed the MSc degree in Computer Science (By Research) in 2018 and joined academia in 2020. She worked as a visiting lecturer from 2020 to 2021 at Foundation University Rawalpindi Campus and now working in CUST as a permanent lecturer. Her research interests include Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Predictive Analytics. She has also worked as a Software Engineer in F3 Technologies and cloud technologies instructor remotely. She also has conference and journal publications.

Hina Shoaib

Ms. Hina Shoaib completed her M.Sc. in Software Engineering from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences ,earning a silver medal. Her research thesis, sponsored by QUEST Lab, focused on "An Automated Approach for Detection and Refactoring of Android Application Performance-Based Code Smells."She is currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at CUST. Alongside teaching, she has been actively involved in research, with a keen interest in Software engineering Architecture and development , Software Testing. she has been actively involved in research, particularly in artificial intelligence, machine learning. She has worked on "A Prediction Approach for Home Appliance Energy Consumption," as well as “Deep learning applications such as Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) for malaria detection from microscopic images, optimizing supply chain resilience”.

Ms. Rida Haya

Rida Haya completed the MS degree in Computer Science from the University of Haripur, Pakistan, in 2021, and joined academia where she worked as Lecturer and Associate Lecturer. Rida Haya's research interests are in Information-Centric Networking and IoT.

Fouzia Qureshi

Mis. Fouzia Qureshi holds an M.Phil-CS degree from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan. She is currently serving as an Associate Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at the Capital University of Science and Technology (C.U.S.T.). In addition to her teaching role, she is actively engaged in research at the Computer Science Lab, Department of Computer Science, Quaid-i-Azam University. Her research primarily focuses on Natural Language Processing (NLP), with a particular emphasis on Word Sense Disambiguation in the Urdu language.

Ms. Snober Naseer

Ms. Mamoona Bilal

Ms. Mamoona Bilal is currently working as an Associate Lecturer in Computer Science Department of Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad. After the completion of bachelor’s degree from FJWU, Rawalpindi, she worked for a year in International Islamic University, Islamabad as an Administraror. She completed the MS degree in computer science from National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (FAST), Islamabad in 2020.She also worked as a lecturer at Sir Syed CASE Institute of Technology for two years and joined Capital University of Science and Technology as an Associate Lecturer. Her research areas are Machine Learning, Energy Optimization, Green Computing.

Mr. Abdul Haseeb

Abdul Haseeb completed his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from COMSATS university Islamabad. He has completed Master of Science in Computer Science from COMSATS university Islamabad. He also worked as research assistant at HITEC university Taxila Cantt. Currently he is working as associate lecturer in computer science at Capital University of Science and Technology Islamabad.

Ms. Iqra Javed

Miss Iqra Javed completed the MS degree in Information Security from Khawaja Fareed University of Engineering and Technology Rahim Yar khan and joined academia where she started working at the position of Associate Lecturer. Her research work is in the Domain of Machine Learning . She has Highest CGPA from her whole Batch . She has interests in Information Security, Machine Learning, Networking Technologies, Security Technologies.

Mr. Islam Ud Din

Mr. Islam Ud Din completed his M. Phil from Quaid-i-Azam University, under the HEC Merit Based Scholarship. Presently working as an Associate Lecturer at CS Department, Capital University of Science and Technology, C.U.S.T. He has also been working as a researcher at CS Lab, department of computer science QAU. His research area focuses on Facial Expression Recognition and classification. He has worked on Autism detection as well. His research work is to apply FER in diverse application areas especially in medical sciences.

Ms. Mahin Malik

Ms. Mahin Malik completed the MS degree in Computer Science (By Research) in 2021 and joined academia in 2019. She worked as a visiting lecturer from 2019 to 2020 at University of Sargodha, and worked as a Permanent lecturer in University of Lahore. Now she is working in CUST as a permanent lecturer. Her research interests include Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Image Processing, Compiler Construction, Human Computer Interaction. She also has journal publication.

Ms. Samra Naseer

Ms. Samra Naseer obtained her MPhil in Computer Science from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, in 2022. Throughout her studies, she actively engaged in freelance projects, enhancing her practical skills in the field. She is currently an associate lecturer at the Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST). Ms. Samra Naseer has successfully published a research paper in a prestigious international journal, with several more in progress. Her primary research interests encompass Multimedia Information Retrieval, computer vision, and Artificial Intelligence, highlighting her commitment to advancing knowledge and innovation in these areas

Ms. Asia Shahab

Ms. Asia Shahab completed her MS degree in Computer Science from Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad in 2020, and joined academia. She has more than 2 years of teaching experience at different universities. She has supervised numerous BS research projects and authored 1 research paper. Her research interests are in Software Testing, project management and Software Engineering.

Hamza Ishaq

Hamza Ishaq is a skilled Web developer and professional IoT developer. He has a strong background in both theory and practical application of Web and IOT’s and specializes in leveraging advances in REACT JS, NODE JS etc.

Ms. Fatima Khurshid

Ms. Fatima Khurshid has completed Bachelors of Science in Computer Science form CUST Islamabad. She is enthusiastic about sharing her expertise with students and bring industry knowledge to classroom. She is passionate about guiding and inspiring students in the classroom and outside classroom.

Mr. Rafah Ahmed

Mr. Rafah Ahmed completed the BS degree in Computer Science from KICSIT affiliated with UET in 2023. He joined Capital University of Science and Technology as Lab Instructor in 2024.

Mr. Ibtisam Zia

Mr. Ibtisam Zia completed the BS degree in Computer Science from CUST in 2024 and recently started his MS degree in Artificial Intelligence from CUST. He joined Capital University of Science and Technology as a Lab Instructor.

Mr. Muhammad Daniyal

Mr. Muhammad Daniyal is a skilled and driven Computer Science professional who completed his BS degree from Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST) in 2024. He quickly transitioned into academia, joining CUST as a Lab Instructor, where he applies his technical expertise to guide students in practical programming and problem-solving. Ms. Hira Firdous

Ms. Hira has completed her bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering and is currently working as a Lab Instructor at the Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST). During her academic journey, she worked on an IoT-based project that involved both web and mobile Application. This project allowed her to apply her technical skills to solve practical problems, showcasing her understanding of modern technology and development tools. Ms. Hira is passionate about teaching and enjoys creating a friendly and engaging environment where students feel encouraged to learn and explore. She believes in connecting theory with practice to make learning more effective and meaningful for her students. Ms. Arooba Sadaqat

Arooba Sadaqat has completed BS degree in Software Engineering from Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad in 2021. She has completed MS degree in computer science from Capital University of Science and Technology Islamabad. Her research interests are in Data Science, Machine Learning and Software Testing.

Mr. Muhammad Waqas

Mr. Muhammad Waqas is a skilled and professional Electrical Engineer who completed his MS degree from Institute of Space Technology (IST) in 2024. He is currently working as a Lab Instructor at CUST where he applies his technical expertise to guide students in practical application of theoretical concepts and problem-solving. During his academic journey, he worked on diverse projects, including circuit design, embedded systems, and microcontroller programming, which complements the interdisciplinary demands of computer science education. His dedication to learning and hands-on experience in these fields reflect his passion for solving real-world problems through innovative technology solutions.

Nayab Tariq

Ms. Nayab Tariq holds a BS in Computer Science from Air University, Islamabad. Currently, she serves as a Lab Engineer in the Computer Science Department at Capital University of Science and Technology (C.U.S.T.). With a passion for education, she has also contributed as a Computer Science teacher at Roots International School & College and DHAI Education System, Islamabad. Her research interests lie in the dynamic field of Cyber Security. Notably, she successfully developed a project titled "Text File Hiding using Audio and Image Steganography" in 2023 at Air University, showcasing her expertise in secure data concealment techniques.

Dr. Muhammad Sagheer

Dr. Muhammad Sagheer did his PhD degree in 2005 from university of Sussex, England. He Joined NUST Institute of Information Technology (SEECS) in 2006 for a year and joined MAJU Islamabad campus in 2007, which was later transformed into Capital University of Science and Technology. He was given the responsibilities of Head of Mathematics Department and Director Student Affairs in 2012. His research interests are Computational Fluid Dynamics and Computational Mathematics. Dr. Muhammad Sagheer has published more than fifty research articles in reputed journals.

Dr. Rashid Ali

Dr Rashid Ali has completed his PhD degree in Mathematics from the University of Passau, Germany in 2011. His research interests are in Cryptography and Cryptanalysis. He also has good command on computer algebra and applications and probabilistic metric species He is also working for the development of fixed point theory in various abstract spaces. He is currently working as Associate Professor in Capital University of Science and Technology CUST. He has supervised numerous BS, MS and MPhil projects.

Dr. A. Rehman Kashif

Dr. Abdul Rehman Kashif has completed his PhD degree in the symmetries of spacetimes in General Relativity from the Quad-i-Azam University, Islamabad, in 2004 and joined as an Assistant Professor in the College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (NUST) Islamabad in the same year. He has worked as a Postdoctoral fellow in the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, UK. He has vast teaching experience in undergraduate and graduate teaching in Mathematics. Currently, he is working in N-Body Problem and restricted 5 or 6 body problems in Celestial Mechanics.

Dr. M. Sabeel Khan

Dr. Khan holds a Promotion degree in Computational Mechanics with distinction "magna cum laude" from Ruhr-University Bochum, Germany. He has presented his research work at different national and international forums of high repute in America, Spain, Italy, Germany and Serbia. He has a strong publication record in reputed international journals of high impact. His research interests include: Computational Mechanics, Extended Continuum Field Theories, non-Classical Continuum Theories, Eringen Field Theories, Mechanics of Fluid-Solid Interactions, Finite Element Analysis, Heat and Mass Transfer, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Numerical Analysis, Modeling and Simulations, Coding with MATLAB, FreeFEM++ and FEniCS.

Dr. Dur e Shehwar

Dr. Dur-e-Shehwar Sagheer has joined academia in 2003. Meanwhile she completed her M. Phil from University of Sussex, UK and PhD. from capital University of Science and Technology. She has fifteen years of teaching experience. She has solid ability to stay organized and on top of important deadlines when teaching full load of classes each semester. She is actively involved in arranging different activities for female students. A committed, knowledgeable and capable Research Fellow. Supervising M.Phil. and PhD. Students.

Dr. Samina Batul

Dr. Samina Rashid completed her PhD in Mathematics from the Capital University of Science and Technology in 2016. Before that, she earned her MPhil from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2001. She worked as a research associate at the University of Passau, Germany, for two years in the chair of symbolic computations. She also has three years of experience working with NESCOM as a manager. Her research areas include Functional Analysis, especially Fixed-Point Theory, as well as Cryptography, Cryptanalysis, Fractional Calculus, and Gr¨obner Basis and Border Basis Computations. She is an HEC-approved supervisor and is currently supervising two PhD students and three MPhil students. Eleven students have completed their MPhil degrees under her supervision. Dr. Samina is an active researcher and has published valuable work in reputed journals over the past years in collaboration with national and international researchers. She has more than twenty years of teaching experience at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Additionally, she is a member of multiple university bodies and is known for being a very welcoming and energetic team member.

Dr. Abid Kamran

Dr. Abid Kamran has completed Ph.D. in Computational Fluid Dynamics from Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST) Islamabad Pakistan in 2020. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Computing at Capital University of Science & Technology (CUST), Islamabad, Pakistan. His research interest includes Numerical methods for boundary value problems, Heat transfer problems, Similar and non-similar solutions. He has published in various international journals.

Mr. Naeemullah Khan

Naeemullah Khan is an Assistant Professor (Islamic Studies) of Capital University of Science and Technology Islamabad. He is a certified by Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan as Shari’ah Advisor (SECP) and deals in Zakat matters and non-business base modes of Islamic Microfinance. He provides Shari’ah consultancy to different charity based organization and honorary consultant of BankWaqf International Malaysia. Prof. Khan has vast experience of academic corridor under his belt by being the faculty member of International Islamic University Islamabad, Mohammad Ali Jinnah University Karachi and Capital University of Science and Technology Islamabad Prof. Khan passed “Moulvi Fazal” exam from Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore as regular student of Ulma Academy Mansoorah, then he passed the exam of highest prestigious degree of Madrasa education “Shadat-ul-Aalmiyah” from Wafaq-ul-Madris. He completed his B.A Honors degree in Islamic Studies (Usul-ud-din) from International Islamic University Islamabad and MS with Specialization in Islamic Finance from Riphah International University, Islamabad. He also served as Shari’ah Advisor of Islamic Micro Finance Resource Centre (IMRC) Islamabad and in different prestige institutions. He is the author the first book on Islamic Microfinance in Urdu language, by the title of “An Introduction to Islamic Microfinance” published by IMRC Islamabad.

Ms. Zuriat Zahra

Ms. Zuriat holds an M. Phil. degree in mathematics from the University of the Punjab. Her area of specialization is Applied Mathematics, particularly; General Relativity and Cosmology. She has an excellent academic record throughout, with a gold medal at the master level. She has more than 5 years teaching experience at different universities.

Ms. Ayyesha Kanwal

Ms. Ayyesha Kanwal Ahmed is a PhD scholar whose major field of interest is Mathematical Physics. She holds MS degree in Mathematics from National University of Science and Technology (NUST). She also carries an experience of teaching at NUST and Foundation University Islamabad as visiting faculty. Her major areas of research are cosmic censorship and self-force effects of black holes and accretion of black holes.

Mr. Naveed Ahmed

Mr. Naveed Ahmed Gondal is Lecturer at Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST), Islamabad. He holds M.Sc in History and M.Phil in Pakistan Studies from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad and LLB from University of th Punjab, Lahore. His area of interest includes Indo-Pakistan History, Constitutional and Political developments in Pakistan, Foreign Policy of Pakistan, Law and International Affairs. He is also a member of Punjab Bar Council, Lahore and an advocate at District and Session Court Mandi Bahauddin. He has been teaching as Lecturer at Muhammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU), Islamabad. Muhammad Iqbal completed his MS degree in Islamic Business and Finance from Riphah International University, Islamabad, Pakistan. His study area is Islamic Study and deals all Shariah compliance matters especially related to Business and Financial Institutions, including identifying their shariah status and presenting their shariah alternative solution.

Mr. Muhammad Nauman is Lecturer at Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST), Islamabad. He holds M.Sc. in Defence and Strategic Studies from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad and Master in Islamic Studies and Master in Pakistan Studies from University of Sargodha and MS Pakistan Studies from International Islamic University Islamabad. His area of interest includes Islamic Studies, Indo-Pakistan History, Islam and Pakistan, Constitutional and Political developments in Pakistan, Foreign Policy of Pakistan, Law and International Affairs. Mr. Azhar Rauf Khan

Mr. Azhar Rauf has completed his MS in Mathematics from the Islamic International University Islamabad. His research interests are in Group Algebra.

Mr. Waqar Younas

Waqar Younas joined CUST in 2021. He has done M.phil in Mathematics from Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad. Under the supervision of Prof Dr. Muhammad Sagheer he analyzed MHD fluid flow by Shooting Method in M.phil. Currently he is working on Advance Numerical Techniques for the analysis of real life problems such as problems of fluid dynamics, computational biology and Heat and Mass transfer.

Ms. Rida Rafaqat

Ms Rida Rafaqat is working as a Lecturer in the Faculty of Computing in Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST), Islamabad, Pakistan. She has completed MS in Mathematics from International Islamic University, Islamabad, Pakistan in 2018. Currently, she is doing her PHD in Mathematics from IIU, Islamabad. She has publications in various international journals.

Dr. Nadeem Anjum

Dr Nadeem Anjum has been involved in research and development for more than 18 years. Dr Anjum completed his Masters in Computer Science in 2001 from International Islamic University, Islamabad (with distinction). He joined Advanced Engineering Research Organization and served the organization for five years as an Assistant Manager. To further his studies, he went at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL, UK) for MS in computer science. He achieved distinction in MS and got QMUL scholarship for PhD. He earned his PhD in 2010 and then joined Riphah International University, Islamabad in 2010 as an Assistant Professor. In 2013, he joined the University of Engineering and Technology Taxila as an Assistant Professor and served the organization for three years. In 2016, Dr Anjum joined Stemma International (pvt) limited as founding director. Dr Anjum received the best paper award at IEEE AVSS 2009. His current research interests include deep learning for human activity recognition, computer vision, and machine learning.

Dr. Aamer Nadeem

Dr. Nadeem received his MSc degree in computer science from Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU), MS in software engineering from National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), and PhD in computer science from Mohammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU). During his PhD, he worked as a Visiting Scholar at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) under a research collaboration. He has over 30 years of teaching, research and industry experience in computer science and software engineering. He has supervised 47 Masters and two PhD research theses in the areas of software testing, fault tolerance and formal methods. He has authored or co-authored over 100 papers in reputable international journals and conferences. He is reviewer or editorial board member of several international peer-reviewed journals and conferences. Dr. Nadeem is an Approved PhD Supervisor by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. He is a professional member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM).

Dr. M. Furqan

Dr. Muhammad Furqan specializes in the Internet of Things, Information-centric networks (CCN), Coding Techniques, Optimization of future cellular networks, IoT-based vehicles, UAVs and Meta surface materials and sometimes operation of Future Internet and mobility management for next-generation computer networks and is deeply involved in the research and policies surrounding the Internet. He completed his PhD in Information and Communication Engineering, at Southeast University, Nanjing, China. During his PhD at Southeast University, he was involved in many projects which are the National Key Research and Development Program of China under Grant 2018YFB1800801, the National Natural Science Foundation of China under Grants 61720106003, and 61531011. In these projects, he worked as a Researcher and successfully completed the projects in the allocated time. He had already experience in the public sector and spent one year in Pakistan Computer Bureau, Islamabad under the NIP program. He worked at the Women University of Swabi in the Department of Computer Science as an assistant professor and had the additional duty of In-Chrage IT of the IT Section, Women University of Swabi. Currently, he is working as an assistant professor at, the Department of Software Engineering, Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad. He published many articles in well-reputed Journals and is currently a reviewer of IEEE ACCESS and Hindawi journals.

Dr. Sabeen Masood

Dr. Sabeen Masood is an accomplished professional with a strong academic background and extensive experience in software engineering. She holds a Ph.D. in Software Engineering from the College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (CEME) at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) in Islamabad, Pakistan. Prior to her Ph.D., she completed her MS at the International Islamic University in Islamabad. She received a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology in Taxila, Pakistan. In terms of professional experience, she currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Software Engineering Department at the Capital University of Science and Technology in Islamabad. She held various teaching positions throughout her career at different universities. Her industry experience includes working as a Quality Assurance Executive at PTCL. She has also pursued additional training and certification, including a graduate course certificate in Blockchain Technology from Sir Syed CASE Institute of Technology and a training certificate in Web Page Development from Comsats Institute of Information Technology. With her expertise in software engineering, Dr. Sabeen Masood has contributed to the academic community through research, publications, and teaching.

Dr. Saifullah completed his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Capital university of Science and Technology, Islamabad, in 2023. Dr. Saifullah has been teaching at college and university level for more than 20 years. Mr. Mudassar Adeel Ahmed has done his BSc. Currently, he is enrolled in PhD. Computer Software Engineering in College of EME, National University of Sciences & Technology. Mr. Mudassar's research interests are in core Software Engineering i.e. Natural Language Processing, Model Driven Software Engineering and Software Requirement Engineering. He has an industrial experience of 1 year in Center for Advanced Research in Engineering (CARE) . He has joined APCOMS-UET Taxila as Lecturer of Computer Science in 2017. After one year, he joined Capital University of Science & Technology as Lecturer of Software Engineering in 2018. He has authored and co-authored different research papers published in reputable international journals and conferences.

Ms. Nadia Ashfaq

Miss. Nadia Ashfaq currently serves as a Senior Lecturer in the Software Engineering department at CUST. She completed her Master in Software Engineering from the Comsats University Islamabad in 2016, with almost 5 years of experience in academia and industry. Her areas of interest are Software Process Improvement, Software Quality Engineering and Software Project Management.

Ms. Qudsia Yousaf

Ms. Qudsia Yousaf holds an experience of industry as well as academia. She has done her BS degree in Computer Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore and MS degree in Software Engineering from COMSATS University Islamabad, Islamabad. After BS she joined industry as a quality assurance engineer. She has experience of 2.5 years at well reputed organizations such as Xavor Corporation, Lahore and FiverRivers Technologies Lahore. After MS she started her academic journey as a Lecturer. She has six years of academic experience at different institutes/universities such as Grafton College Islamabad and University of Lahore Islamabad Campus. She has research interests in Software Engineering, HCI, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. She has supervised FYP projects in her academic journey as well.
