PROFILE SUMMARY

Dr. Muhammad Furqan is a distinguished expert in the fields of Internet of Things, Information-centric networks (CCN), Coding Techniques, Optimization of future cellular networks, IoT, UAVs, Meta surface materials, Future Internet operations, and mobility management for next-generation computer networks. He received a prestigious Chinese government scholarship to pursue his PhD in Information and Communication Engineering at Southeast University, Nanjing, China.During his doctoral studies, Dr. Furqan actively participated in several significant projects, including the National Key Research and Development Program of China under Grant 2018YFB1800801, the National Natural Science Foundation of China under Grants 61720106003, and 61531011. As a Researcher, he made substantial contributions to the successful completion of these projects within the stipulated time frame.Since 2021, Dr. Furqan has served as Head of the Department of Computer Science at Women University of Swabi, where he has also taken on the additional responsibility of overseeing the IT Section. Currently, he holds the position of assistant professor at the Department of Software Engineering, Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad. Dr. Furqan remains deeply engaged in research and policy efforts related to the Internet, demonstrating his commitment to advancing the field.
