Dr. Nadia Shamshad

PROFILE SUMMARY

Dr. Malik has completed her PhD degree in Pharmaceutics from “The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan”. She has been associated with academia in terms of teaching and research for more than 18 years. She currently serves as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan, where her significant contributions span both teaching and research. In her dual capacity as Associate Professor and Head of the Pharmaceutics Department, Dr. Malik demonstrates effective leadership skills and a profound commitment to advancing pharmaceutical education. Her research interests are broad, focusing on drug delivery with specializations in overcoming challenges related to drug properties, optimizing release mechanisms, and enhancing clinical efficacy. Expertise in polymeric drug delivery systems, biomaterials, and cutaneous formulations reflects her dedication. Particularly committed to understanding skin changes, Dr. Malik leverages this insight to develop advanced cosmeceuticals. Throughout her career, she has been an active contributor to the scientific community through research publications, conference presentations, and collaborative projects. Dr. Malik’s work in pharmaceutics underscores her commitment to advancing drug delivery techniques for the betterment of patient outcomes.
