PROFILE SUMMARY
Dr. Muhammad Ashraf is a Professor at Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad. He completed his Ph.D. in Systems Engineering from the University of Liverpool, Liverpool, UK, M.Sc. in Systems Engineering from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan, and B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan. He has served in Pakistan Atomic Energy, NUST, Elixir Technologies, and Enabling Technologies, Islamabad. Seven students have successfully completed their Ph.D. under his supervision.He has provided consultancy services to MTC, NESCOM, and completed many projects for Pakistan Navy. He was awarded an Honorarium for Successful Nuclear explosions by Pakistan. He generated funds for NUST by providing consultancy services in the field of power electronics to Locomotive factory, Risalpur. Additionally, he generated funds for NUST by offering an Embedded Systems course at PNEC. He completed and successfully installed the project of weather monitoring systems funded by Pakistan Science Foundation.Dr. Muhammad Ashraf was awarded the Fellowship for Ph.D. by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of Pakistan, in 1991. He was also awarded the Fellowship for MSc in Systems Engineering at CNS (PIEAS) Islamabad in 1998.
