Umar Maqbool received the B.S. degree in electronics and communication engineering from Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad and the M.S. degree in electronics and wireless communication from University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom. He joined academia after serving for a brief while in the industry. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Capital University of Science and Technology. He is a Registered Engineer with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), Islamabad.
