Dr. Qadir’s professional journey spanned over a quarter-century in two overlapping domains of academia and industry. Serving as a Computer Science Professor and Dean Faculty of Computing since 2005, he has excelled as an educator, moulding future AI and algorithm experts through a unique blend of academic rigor and practical training. Beyond the classroom, Dr. Qadir is a dedicated mentor, actively supporting students in their academic and professional journeys, fostering collaboration and empowerment. As a founding Dean at MAJU and CUST, Dr. Qadir’s strategic leadership has birthed successful programs and faculties, including Engineering, Health & Life Sciences, and Pharmacy. Under his guidance, over 8000 graduates have been produced and are contributing significantly to society. Dr. Qadir’s influence extends to research, supervising over 10 scholars in completing PhD degrees and numerous MS theses in the field of intelligent computing systems. With a prolific output of 150+ research papers, he has also led successful industrial projects, securing substantial funding. Dr. Qadir’s impact spans across education, research, and industry, making him a transformative force in the convergence of academia and industry.
