PROFILE SUMMARY

Mohammad Javed Hyder (Dr.) a full professor at the Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST), Islamabad, Pakistan. He is secretary International Conference on Advances in Mechanical Engineering. At departmental level e is Director Research, Head of Renewable Energy Research Group, and Incharge Graduate Program. His field of research is Renewable Energy, Mechanical System Design, Turbomachinery, Mechanical Behaviour of Materials, and Computational Engineering. He received Best University Teachers Award in 2010 by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences awarded Performance Gold Medal in 2008. He was awarded Tamgha-e-Baka in 1998. He has published 33 articles in the journals and presented 35 papers in the conferences. He has supervised 5 Doctoral theses and 175 Master theses. Also supervised 40 BSc/BE Final year Projects/ Theses. He has a teaching experience of more than 40 years. He has taught more than 50 subjects in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Material Behaviour, Computer Science and Engineering Management to the graduate and undergraduate students. He has managerial experience as Dean of Faculty of Engineering, Head of Department of Mechanical Engineering, Head of Division of Information and Public Relation and Director of Offices of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC).
