PROFILE SUMMARY

Ms. Shummaila Rasheed had completed her Bachelor of Sciences in Mechanical Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore, Pakistan, and Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST), Islamabad, Pakistan. In 2015, She had received an Erasmus Mundus Scholarship and registered as a Full-time Master’s student in the Departamento de Engenharia Mecânica of University of Porto (UPORTO), Portugal for her MS thesis (One-year mobility). During this period, she was selected among several students to present her home country (Pakistan), its culture and language to different elementary and secondary schools of the city under Classes without Frontiers project organized by Porto City Hall, in collaboration with the International Relations Office of the UPORTO and received a Certificate of honor from Vice-President of Porto City Hall. Currently she is a registered as a PhD Scholar in Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST), Islamabad, Pakistan and working on her PhD thesis. Recently, she also had received an Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (ICM) Programme Scholarship and registered as a Full-time PhD researcher in the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering in Dublin City University (DCU), Ireland for experimental activities (six-month mobility). During this period, she served School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering in Dublin City University (DCU) as a Part-Time Demonstrator. Currently, she is serving Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST), Islamabad as a Lecturer. Moreover, she is also an active member of Directorate of Sustainability and Environment (DSE, CUST), Design and Machine Research group (ME, CUST) and Volunteer in services (VIS, CUST).
